Basketball tournament

Leo woke up with a cheer, the tournament was here! He grabbed his ball and ran, to the court as fast as he can. His team was ready to play, they practiced day after day. The whistle blew, it was time, to start the game and climb.

The ball was passed around, it bounced and hit the ground. Leo dribbled with great skill, his moves gave everyone a thrill. He passed to his friend, who shot and scored, the crowd roared! The first quarter ended, and the score was tied, both teams tried.

The second quarter was tough, the other team was rough. Leo's team stayed strong, they knew they belonged. They passed and shot, giving all they got. The half-time buzzer rang, the crowd sang.

Coach gathered the team, and shared his dream. "You can win this game, just play the same." Leo felt inspired, his energy was fired. They huddled and cheered, their doubts disappeared.

The third quarter began, each player had a plan. Leo stole the ball, he felt so tall. He passed to his mate, who scored at a great rate. The crowd was wild, they cheered for the child.

The final quarter was here, the end was near. The score was close, who'd win, no one knows. Leo dribbled with might, his eyes were bright. He passed and they scored, the crowd roared.

With seconds to go, the game was a show. Leo had the ball, he heard the crowd call. He took a deep breath, and aimed for the net. The ball went in, his team would win!

The buzzer rang loud, they won, the crowd was proud. Leo's team jumped and cheered, all their doubts disappeared. They held the trophy high, reaching for the sky. Leo smiled wide, feeling joy inside.
