A Sunny Day at the Zoo
Bibi and Sage Visit the Zoo
One sunny day, Bibi and Sage went to the zoo. They were excited to see animals, both old and new. Sage held Bibi's hand tight, his eyes shining bright. They knew it would be a day full of delight.
1
First, they saw the otters, swimming in the stream. They splashed and played, like in a dream. Sage giggled and clapped, so full of cheer. Bibi smiled and said, 'Look, my dear!'
2
Next, they saw the elephants, so big and grand. They walked with grace, across the land. Sage marveled at their trunks, swinging to and fro. Bibi whispered, 'Aren't they amazing, though?'
3
Then they saw the snakes, coiled up tight. Some were green, others black and white. Sage watched in awe, not feeling any fear. Bibi said, 'They're safe, my dear.'
4
The chimpanzees were next, swinging from tree to tree. They chattered and laughed, so wild and free. Sage tried to mimic them, jumping with glee. Bibi chuckled, 'You're quite the monkey, I see!'
5
They stopped for lunch, under a shady tree. Bibi packed sandwiches, enough for three. Sage munched happily, his tummy full. Bibi said, 'This day is wonderful!'
6
They heard a loud roar, and ran to see. It was the big cats, fierce and free. Lions and tigers, so strong and proud. Sage whispered, 'Wow,' not too loud.
7
As the sun set, it was time to go. Bibi and Sage walked back, nice and slow. 'What a day,' said Sage, with a yawn and a grin. Bibi replied, “ Don’t worry, we can come back again!”
