A Lonely Boy

boy and fisch

Stefan was an 8-year-old boy who lived in a small village near a beautiful lake. He was a quiet boy with no friends, but he had a very special companion, a colorful fish named Shine. Every day, Stefan would rush home from school to spend time by the lake, talking to Shine. He believed Shine could understand him, listening to every word with her kind eyes.

Winter came, and the lake turned into a sheet of ice. One day, Stefan noticed that Shine was missing. His heart sank. He walked along the icy shore, calling out for Shine, hoping to see her colorful tail. Suddenly, he heard a faint squeaking sound under the ice.

Stefan carefully listened and realized the sound was coming from where Shine usually swam. He started digging through the snow and then began to gently break the thin ice. After a few minutes of careful work, he found Shine, trapped under the ice but still alive. Stefan gently lifted her with both hands, feeling her cold but still vibrant body.

Stefan carefully placed Shine back into the water. She quickly swam in circles, as if saying thank you. Watching Shine swim away, Stefan felt a warm smile spread across his face. He realized that true friendship is about love and care, and at that moment, he knew their bond was unbreakable.
