Chapter 1: A Meadow Green
Cloppy the horsey
In a meadow green, where flowers bloom, there lived a horse named Cloppy. Cloppy was a strong farm horse, always ready to work. He had a cart to pull from sun to moon.
1
One sunny day, feeling tired and gray, Cloppy met a cheeky frog named Slimy. Slimy had a twinkle in his eye and loved to play tricks. He told Cloppy, 'Why don't you skip work today? Let's have some fun!'
2
Cloppy thought skipping work sounded exciting. He followed Slimy to a nearby pond. But as Cloppy tried to get closer, he slipped and fell right into the water. Slimy hopped onto a lilypad and watched in surprise.
3
After Cloppy managed to get out of the pond, he realized he was hungry. Slimy said, 'I know just the place to grab something to eat!' They hopped and trotted their way to a pond filled with delicious plants and bugs.
4
As Cloppy and Slimy arrived at the pond, they were greeted by buzzing mosquitoes. Slimy didn't mind them, but poor Cloppy got bitten all over! 'Let's find another place,' Cloppy said, scratching his itchy skin.
5
Cloppy decided it was time to go back home. He galloped back to his cozy stall, filled with fresh hay. He felt relieved to be away from the pesky mosquitoes and their itchy bites.
6
Cloppy and Slimy had been through quite an adventure together. Despite the mishaps, they had become good friends. They spent their days playing and exploring the meadow, enjoying each other's company.
7
Cloppy and Slimy's friendship lasted for years to come. They always looked out for each other and had many more exciting adventures together. And in the meadow green, where flowers bloom, their laughter could always be heard.
