DENNIS AND THE DREAM FACTORY

Denice, an 8-year-old boy with medium brown hair, was getting ready for bed. He smiled as he thought about the fun dreams he might have. Instead of counting sheep, Denice decided to count wolves. He lay in bed, imagining the wolves jumping over a fence one by one.

Just as Denice was about to fall asleep, he heard a noise. It was his hamster, running on its wheel. Denice got up to check on his little pet. The hamster seemed happy, so Denice went back to bed, hoping to dream about adventures.

Denice suddenly found himself in his sock drawer. He was surprised to see a gnome standing there. The gnome smiled and pointed to a big sock made of many small ones. Denice felt curious and decided to climb inside the big sock.

As Denice climbed through the sock, he found himself in a magical place. Gnomes were everywhere, looking at the boy who had just arrived. They seemed friendly and waved at him. Denice felt excited and wondered what adventure awaited him.

Denice walked into a gallery filled with dark paintings. There was a sign that read, 'All ye who pass this crest shall find yourself in walking rest.' Suddenly, Denice was standing with a blanket on him and a pillow floating his way. He felt cozy and ready for more adventures.

Denice wandered next to a conveyor belt. Gnomes were busy working, and one with a black beard came to greet him. The gnome said Denice was the new employee and handed him three bottles to mix dreams. Denice was confused but excited to help.

The gnome walked away, leaving Denice in front of the conveyor belt. Denice felt a bit sad and confused. He picked up a little shovel and started putting powder into the bottles. He hoped he was doing it right and that the dreams would be wonderful.

Denice watched as the bottles moved down the conveyor belt. Each bottle was filled with magical dream powder. The gnomes cheered as the dreams were completed. Denice felt proud and happy, knowing he had helped create wonderful dreams for everyone.
