A Curious Thought

Dragons don't dance

One sunny afternoon, a little boy with short red hair gazed up at his enormous friend, Robin the dragon. A question bubbled up in his mind, making him tilt his head with a curious expression. Above his head, an imaginary question mark appeared, almost visible in the air. 'Can dragons dance?' he wondered aloud.
1
Robin was no ordinary dragon. He was cute, kind, and his green scales shimmered in the sunlight. Towering over the city, he was taller than the houses and bigger than any barrel you could find. The boy marveled at his size, his eyes wide with wonder.
2
With a burst of excitement, the boy tugged at Robin's massive paw, eager to share his idea. But Robin, gentle and kind, resisted. He wasn't sure about this dancing idea. Dragons, after all, were known for many things, but dancing wasn't one of them.

Undeterred, the boy's imagination took flight. He decided to throw a party, a grand one with dragons as the guests of honor. He scribbled down a list: maracas for music, plenty of food and drinks, and invitations for all his friends. The idea of a party brightened his day.

The day of the party arrived, and Robin, with a little encouragement, decided to give dancing a try. As the maracas shook and the music played, Robin swayed and twirled, his large body moving gracefully. The boy clapped his hands in delight, seeing his friend enjoy the dance.
5
The party was a hit, with dragons and humans alike tapping their feet to the rhythm. But as the dragons danced, the ground trembled under their weight. Suddenly, a bridge nearby could no longer hold, collapsing into the river below. The party came to an abrupt halt, concern replacing the joy on everyone's faces.
6
The next day, everyone gathered to rebuild the bridge. Dragons and humans worked side by side, lifting heavy beams and securing ropes. Robin, with his great strength, was especially helpful. The boy felt proud as he watched everyone come together, a true team effort.
7
With the bridge completed, the boy looked up at Robin, his smile wide and grateful. He had learned that dragons could indeed dance, but more importantly, he discovered the power of friendship and teamwork. Together, they had turned a mishap into an opportunity, strengthening the bond between dragons and humans.
