Lena's Spilled Juice

Even Adults Make Messes

Lena was playing with her doll so nice, but then she knocked over her juice with ice. The juice spread wide across the floor, Lena looked and said, "Oh no, not more!" But Dad smiled and said with glee, "Messes happen, let's clean and see!"

Dad was reading the morning news, with a cup of coffee he didn't want to lose. But a bump from the cat made him slip, and there went his coffee with a drip! Lena laughed and clapped her hands, "Even adults make messes!" she understands.

Lena loved to paint with colors bright, but oops, she tipped the red one to the right! Paint splattered on the wall and floor, Lena giggled, "Oops, there's more!" Dad winked and said, "It's okay, my dear, let's clean it up and have no fear."

Dad was planting flowers in the sun, when he tripped and made a muddy run. Dirt flew up and around the yard, "Oh dear," he said, "That was hard!" Lena chuckled, "See, Dad, it's true, even adults make messes too!"

Lena baked cookies with chocolate chips, but one crumbled and slipped from her grips. It fell to the floor with a little thud, and Lena sighed, "Oh, what a dud!" Dad smiled and gave her a hug, "We'll clean it up, my little bug."

Dad cooked spaghetti with sauce so red, but as he served, it slipped instead. The noodles flew across the room, "Oh no," he said, "What a boom!" Lena giggled and said with pride, "Even grown-ups make messes side by side!"

Lena loved crafts and glitter bright, but it spilled and sparkled in the light. The table shimmered with glittery glow, "Oops," she said, "It's a show!" Dad laughed and said, "No worries, dear, we'll clean it up and have no fear."

Lena and Dad cleaned up each mess, learning together is always the best. They laughed and played through every spill, knowing that mistakes are part of the thrill. "It's okay to make messes," they both agree, "As long as we clean them up, you see!"
