The Broken Swing

Fix it, Sammy Squirrel

One sunny morning, Sammy, the red squirrel noticed something unusual. The swing by the old oak tree was broken. 'Oh no!' Sammy exclaimed. 'The little ones love that swing.' Sammy decided it was up to him to fix it.

Sammy knew he needed tools to fix the swing. He scampered around the forest, gathering what he needed. With a stick, a vine, and a big leaf, he was ready. 'This should do it!' Sammy said, feeling proud.

Back at the oak tree, Sammy got to work. He used the stick to support the swing and tied it up with the vine. The big leaf served as a new seat. 'Almost done,' he muttered, focusing hard on his task.

With a final tug, Sammy finished his work. The swing was as good as new, maybe even better. 'Hooray!' cheered the little squirrels, rushing to try it out. Sammy watched, a big smile on his face, happy to have helped.
