Chapter 2: The Grey Mandarins and the Miracle Potion
When panic spread through the kingdom, the grey mandarins—mysterious lords from the Rainy Isle—arrived. They claimed they knew how to save everyone and began selling a magical potion that, according to them, could cure the disease. But the price was so high that only the rich could afford it.
On a soft, snowy path, Kira noticed tiny footprints left on the ground. The clear prints led into a secret thicket near the forest. She followed the footprints with great care, hoping they would lead her to the lost dragon. With each step, Kira felt more determined to keep her new friend safe.

As evening came, gentle snowflakes began to fall around them. The little dragon flapped its tiny wings and lifted off slowly into the twinkling sky. Kira watched in wonder as holiday lights shimmered above, making the night feel magical. Seeing the dragon take flight filled her heart with joy and hope.

The next day, Kira and the little dragon enjoyed a stroll in an autumn park filled with golden leaves. They walked along a narrow path, laughing as the dragon playfully hopped among the falling leaves. A light fog began to cover the forest, and Kira stayed close to guide her friend safely. With warmth in her heart, Kira was grateful for the day and the wonderful friendship they had discovered.
