Gerry decided not to give up. He walked to the watering hole, hoping to find some of his friends. But when he got there, it was quieter than usual. He felt a little sadder but kept on searching.

As the sun began to set, Gerry started heading back home. Suddenly, he heard whispers and giggles. Curious, he followed the sounds until he stumbled upon a beautiful surprise.

All of Gerry's friends jumped out and shouted, 'Surprise!' They had been planning a birthday party all along. There was cake, presents, and lots of laughter. Gerry realized he was never really alone.
