Summer Days
The Grasshopper and the Ant: A Tale of Preparation and Diligence
In the warm, buzzing meadow, Joon the Ant worked hard under the sun, carrying bits of leaves and food back to his colony. Meanwhile, Minho, the green grasshopper, lounged on a leaf, strumming his guitar with a headmic on, singing joyously. 'Why work so hard, Joon?' Minho asked with a smile. Joon paused, a leaf balanced on his back, 'Winter is coming, we must prepare,' he replied before hurrying off.

Days turned into weeks. Joon and the other ants continued their tireless work, their food stores growing. Minho watched them, chuckling to himself as he played his music. 'Winter is far away, enjoy the sunshine while it lasts,' he sang out to them. Joon shook his head with concern, but Minho just waved it off, dancing alone to his songs.

As the leaves changed colors and the air grew cold, Minho's songs became less frequent. One morning, he woke to find the meadow covered in snow, his guitar strings frozen. Shivering, he remembered Joon's warnings. 'I should have prepared,' Minho regretted, wandering in search of food, finding none. Meanwhile, Joon and his colony were warm and well-fed, their hard work paying off.

When spring returned, Minho approached Joon, humbled. 'You were right, Joon. I've learned my lesson,' he said. Joon smiled, 'It's never too late to start preparing.' Together, they worked through the spring, Minho learning the value of diligence. As the first flowers bloomed, Minho sang a new song, one of hard work and preparation, vowing never to face winter unprepared again.
