The First Day

Two Tiny Hands, One Giant Leap

Elektra and Luka held hands as they walked into their new kindergarten. Elektra felt excited but a little nervous. Luka was quiet, but he held his sister's hand tightly. When they entered the classroom, they saw colorful drawings on the walls and toys on the shelves. Their teacher, Miss Lily, greeted them with a warm smile. She showed them where to hang their backpacks and where they could sit. Elektra and Luka felt a little better, knowing that they had a friendly teacher.

Elektra showed a new friend, Mia, how to draw a flower, while Luka played with a boy named Max, building a tall tower with blocks. Soon, they were all laughing and having fun. Elektra and Luka felt happy to have made new friends. They realized that kindness and sharing made everything more enjoyable.
