Who is hiding in the dark?

Loucas is playing ball with his black-and-white cat in his room on the floor, they are happy.

Loucas was a little boy who loved to play during the day. But when night came, he was scared of the dark. He always thought there was a monster hiding in his room. 

A New Friend

One night, he heard a soft purring sound. It was Kouzya, his black-and-white cat with green eyes, coming to comfort him. Loucas hugged Kouzya tightly as he looked around his dark room. Shadows danced on the walls, making him even more scared. 

The Scary Night

Dark continued, "I am here to ensure that your dreams are filled with magic and wonder. A good night’s sleep helps you grow strong and intelligent, and my magic will make sure your dreams are as delightful as the twinkling stars. You are a very special boy, Loucas, with a big heart. I’m here to guard your dreams and sprinkle them with joy and enchantment."

Suddenly, he saw a kind black face with a soft smile. Loucas felt a bit better, but he still didn't know who it was. 'Who are you?' he whispered. 
'I am Dark,' the figure said in a gentle voice. 'I am not a monster, just a spirit of the darkness.' Loucas was surprised but felt safe. Dark had long fluffy hair and a very kind face. Loucas realized that Dark was not there to scare him.

Meeting Dark

Just then, a soft, shimmering glow filled the corner of the room. A kind, black face with a warm, inviting smile emerged from the shadows. Loucas’s fear began to melt away as he gazed at the figure. "Who are you?" he whispered, his eyes wide with wonder.

Loucas and Kouzya sat together with Dark, feeling safe and happy. 'Dark, will you always be here?' Loucas asked. 'Yes, I will always be here to keep you safe,' Dark replied. From that night on, Loucas was never scared of the dark again. He knew that Dark was his friend.
