Page 3 The four arrived at Old Walled Village and saw the tall walls and narrow gate. Jun Jie observed closely, saying, “The design here is so interesting; it must have been great for keeping pirates away!” Page 4 Xiao Ling exclaimed, “Look at the steps in front of the gate! This design makes it hard for enemies to attack!” Everyone nodded, impressed by the wisdom of the ancients. Page 5 Next, they visited the Tin Hau Temple. Wen Yu pointed at the statue and said, “This is Tin Hau, who protects us. She has the Eye and Ear of Heaven beside her!” Page 6 In the temple, Yao Yao discovered two ancient bronze bells and thought, “These bells must have been rung by villagers praying for safety.” They all felt the sacred atmosphere of the temple. Page 7 Finally, they arrived at the Song Ling Tang Temple. Wen Yu said, “This is built to honor our ancestor, Deng Song Ling. What a place full of stories!” They quietly felt the weight of history. Rabbit is getting ready for the long cold as well. Rabbit is harvesting and stacking many carrots. Little Fox thinks, " Maybe some carrots would be good in my soup." Little Fox gives Rabbit two acorns for one carrot. Little Fox heads on down the walk by Hedghog's hole. Hedgehog is busy collecting moss for his bed and twigs for his door. Little Fox helps Hedgehog gather his supplies. Hedgehog gives Little Fox 2 bundles of twigs for three acorns. Little Fox continues down the walk to find more things for the long cold. Little fox came upon Turtle fishing in the pond. " Wow, some fish would be tasty in my soup!" he exclaimed. Turtle gives Little Fox 3 small fish for 4 of his acorns. Little Fox continues down the walk to find more things for the long cold. Little Fox finds Porcupine stuck under a log. Little Fox lifts the log and helps Porcupine to get free. Porcupine gives little fox a quill for his help! Satisfied with his adventurous walk, Little Fox begins to head home. Little Fox's wagon is a little heavier than when he started. He pulls his wagon around Turtle's pond, over Hedgehog's hole, passes Rabbit's house, and finally reaches his den. Little Fox is tired from his work today, but he's not finished yet. Little Fox takes everything inside. He looks at his findings for the long cold and is happy. He has an acorn, crunchy carrots, and tasty fish for his soup! He has plenty of twigs to keep his fire warm and toasty and a new quill to knit a new tie and cap! Little Fox finishes eating his soup and climbs into bed for a well-deserved good night's rest. The End.

You just have to keep wiggling it. “But what if it hurts?” Imoni asked, her voice trembling a little. You’re so brave, and I’ll be right here with you.” Imoni looked into her daddy’s kind eyes. She took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay, Daddy. I trust you.” Arthur carefully tied the string around Imoni’s loose tooth. “Ready, sweetheart?” he asked. Imoni squeezed her eyes shut and held her daddy’s hand. “Ready,” she whispered. “On the count of three,” Arthur said. “One… two…” Before he got to three, he gave a quick tug, and the tooth popped right out! Imoni opened her eyes. “Wait… is it out?” Arthur held up the tiny tooth. “It’s out! You did it, Imoni!” Imoni touched the gap in her mouth and smiled. “It didn’t even hurt!” she said, giggling. “I told you,” Arthur said, hugging her. “Sometimes, trusting someone makes all the difference.
