1.  John Jr and Hopsi were reading their Bible.  They came across the virtue of temperance.  John Jr and Hopsi decided to ask the preschool teacher to tell them more about temperance.
2.  Temperance  involves moderation in one's thoughts, feelings, and actions, and having self-control.   John Jr and Hopsi wanted to learn how they could practice temperance.
3.  John Jr and Hopsi was going to practice abstinence of something that habitual in their life for a week.  They made a list of their habits and each decided on on thing.  John Jr was going to give up his game boy and Hopsi was going to give up carrots.
4.  John Jr and Hopsi decided they were also going change how they did stuff.  Try to make some healthy habits.
4.  John Jr and Hopsi planned on Exercising for 20 minutes every day for a week, Practicing an instrument for 30 minutes every day for a week ,Making your bed first thing every morning , Turning off TV by 7 PM for a week, Waiting until after dinner to eat dessert

Sofi es una niña muy graciosa, dulce e ingeniosa. Tiene muchas amigas, le encanta bailar, dibujar y armar chozas con mantas y sillas. 
A Sofi le encanta viajar. Tiene un mapamundi en la pared de su cuarto y siempre está lista para armar las valijas para un próximo viaje. Le encanta elegir qué ropa y cuáles juguetes llevar.
Un día estaba jugando con Antonio dentro de una choza de mantas y su dragón de juguete cobró vida. Los dos se quedaron impresionados. El dragón podía hablar! Era un dragón mágico, que les concedía un deseo. Sofi pidió un viaje con Antonio. Cuando tuvo que elegir el destino gritó feliz: a Grecia! Lo había leído en un libro hacía poco y quería conocer. Antonio estaba muy emocionado con la idea también.

in the safari, there lived a baby deer named Daisy. Daisy loved to hop and skip through the tall, golden grasses. Daisy spotted a tall, gentle giraffe named George.  He was stretching up to nibble on the greenest leaves from the tallest branches.

Daisy watched in awe. George looked down at Daisy with a warm smile. “Hello, little deer! Yes, I can reach the high leaves, but I can’t run as fast as you, Daisy. 
Daisy’s ears perked up. “But what’s the use of being fast if I can’t taste those delicious leaves?” 

George thought for a moment and then lowered his head to Daisy’s level. Why don’t we help each other?

Daisy’s eyes lit up with excitement. “Oh, I’d love that!” she exclaimed. “Let’s be a team!”

 Daisy would meet George by the acacia tree. George would bend his long neck and pluck the juiciest, freshest leaves from the treetops. He would share them with Daisy, who would happily munch away, enjoying a treat she could never reach on her own.

In return, Daisy showed George how to move more gracefully on the ground. “Step lightly,” she taught him. “Feel the ground under your hooves. Try to move like the wind – softly and swiftly.”

George practiced every day. At first, he was a bit clumsy, but Daisy encouraged him. “You’re getting better!” she cheered. “Just keep trying!” 


“We’re helping each other,” Daisy replied proudly. “George is teaching me to reach new heights, and I’m helping him move gracefully.”


From that day on, Daisy and George’s friendship grew even stronger, and soon other animals joined them. They realized that everyone had something special to offer.

Despues que paro la lluvia se sentaron en un banco en el parque y comieron un bocadillo.

2. The tubs don't know how special they are, they think they are just used to store people's stuff. 
3. One day they discovered they were more than that when a person called Phil arrived at their house on the beach.
4. Phil was visiting the tropical island for two months. 
5. All of his possessions fitted into the two tubs.
6. When Phil was packing his clothes into the tubs, he was thinking how much stuff he had left behind at home. He was also thinking of little he needed on his visit to the tropical island. 
7. Each day as Phil took out something to wear he reflected on what it felt like to live with so little. 
8. It felt good. Phil felt free! Life was simple and uncluttered. 
9. Little did the tubs know that they had become a symbol of a new way of living for Phil. 
10. They had taught Phil a very important lesson, to not collect to much stuff but to live simply.

The Mind

On a small kibbutz in Southern Israel lives a six-year-old boy named Avi.
Every day after school, Avi and his friends play soccer on a large field. Next to the field, a factory is being built. 
Avi’s dad, Mr. Ben-David, manages the construction site. Avi loves to visit him and learn about all the different things that go into building the factory - clearing the land, pouring the foundation, and erecting the frame. 
One sunny afternoon Avi wandered away from his soccer game to visit his dad. This was something he did often. But today was different. He noticed a new, unfamiliar face at the worksite. He approached the stranger and cheerfully introduced himself.
“Shalom, my name is Avi,” he said to the man. The man, with a warm smile, turned to Avi. “Shalom Avi, it’s good to meet you. I'm Omar." He then performed a captivating magic trick with his hands, leaving Avi mesmerized.
Avi noticed that the man spoke Hebrew, just as he did, but with a different accent. He also had a first name he hadn’t heard before. Avi wondered about this nice new stranger as he walked home with his soccer ball cradled beneath his arms.
That evening, as his family shared dinner around the table, Avi asked his dad about the man. “aba, I met Omar today. He’s so nice. He has a funny accent and a funny name and can do magic tricks! Who is he? Where did he come from? Can I come see him again?”
“Whoa, slow down Avi. What’s with all this curiosity?”, Mr. Ben-David replied. “I don’t know, Aba. It’s nice to meet new and different people. I think he liked meeting me, too!”
“Well, Avi, Omar is Palestinian from Gaza and he will be crossing into Israel each day from now on to help with building the new factory. And each night he will go back to Gaza to be with his family. It’s a long day for Omar so perhaps you should let him focus on his work.”

“I will aba, but I’m just so curious. He’s my new friend. If I see him when I come visit I’ll only talk to him a little bit.”

Miaunel i-a răspuns girafei: „Puţin îmi pasă că nu vrei să te joci cu mine”. În sinea sa, Miaunel s-a sinţit trist şi supărat.
