Karsen's Sunday Adventures It’s Sunday morning! Karsen wakes up early, rubs his sleepy eyes, and kneels beside his bed to pray. After praying, Karsen quickly fixes his bed. He folds his blanket neatly and fluffs his pillow. Karsen goes to church with his grandma and older sister. They walk hand in hand, ready to start the day with worship. After church, they visit the park. Karsen enjoys the fresh air and plays while they have a little picnic. When they get home, Karsen helps clean the house with his sister. They sweep, dust, and put everything in its place. Karsen also helps his grandma in the garden. Together, they water the plants and pull out weeds. In the afternoon, Karsen joins his sister and friends to clean their neighborhood. They pick up trash and sweep the streets. At night, Karsen enjoys watching TV with his family while having a light dinner. Before bedtime, he kneels once more to pray and thank God for a wonderful day.

Asher was a 6-year-old girl who loved God. She loved going to church. Her mom cleaned the church, and her father played the drums. One day Asher's best friend Sarah at school got sick. She begin questioning God. She felt distant from God. She continued to go to church but didn't feel like singing anymore, and didn't enjoy hearing God's word anymorOne day, Asher was in Sunday School and her teacher was teaching about the story in the bible where a woman with a blood condition touched Jesus’s garment and she was healed instantly. She loved that story. After the lesson, she went to talk to her Sunday school teacher Sarah. Her teacher encouraged her to continue praying for Sarah, and to have faith that Jesus could heal her too.That night she went home and prayed. She went back to the hospital to visit Sarah. She explained the story of Jesus healing the woman with the blood issue. Sarah is surprised and encouraged. Asher prayed together with Sarah.Asher continued to pray and trust God every day. After a few weeks passed, she visited Sarah again. Her friend was getting ready to leave the hospital. She said Asher I'm all better, I believe that Jesus healed me just like you said! I want to learn more about Jesus Asher is so happy. She went home and thanked God right away. “God” I’m sorry for not believing in you earlier. But I know you will forgive me, because you forgive all our sins always. This story of Asher might relate to you. Sometimes we make mistakes like Asher, but it is never too late for you to start fresh. If you believe in Jesus to save you from your sins, He will. The bible says that if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has passed and behold, a new has come. You might feel hopeless thinking there Is no second or third chance from sin, but we want to encourage you to have faith despite whats happening around you, like Asher did. And believe that this new year, God will give you a new chance to be right with him.

In the middle of his fun walk Aqma met an old lady who was having a struggle calling her cat who was up in a tree. “Koko, come down don’t stay up there, it is time for you to eat, c’mon Koko!” The old lady called out her cat while holding her waist. “Let me help you, Grandma!” Aqma offered, quickly climbing the tree. “Here’s your cat!” he said, handing Koko back to her. “Thank you so much gentleman! Here are some buns for you to eat.” Aqma took the buns with a smile and said thank you then continued on his way. In the middle of continuing his walk, Aqma met a man who was struggling to carry a lot of luggage. “Hi, sir! Let me help you carry your stuff.” Aqma immediately helped carry the man's luggage. The man smiled as Aqma helped him carry his belongings home. With Aqma’s help, the man reached home. “Thank you, kid. Come rest and have a glass of water,” the man said. Aqma rested for a while and enjoyed the man’s hospitality. Arriving home to his surprise, Aqma’s house was swarming with people trying to put out the fire. Aqma was confused and shocked at the same time, he just remembered that when he was walking earlier he forgot to turn off the stove and now he had no place to stay. He just stood there looking at his house that was slowly disappearing. Aqma sat limply lamenting his fate, the only thing he could save was his body. From a distance, the people looked at his loneliness until without Aqma realizing it, the old lady and the man he helped earlier approached him “You can stay at my house, child,” the old lady said.“My home is always open if you’re hungry,” the man added. From that day on, Aqma remained grateful for the kindness of others and vowed to keep helping people every day.

With their picnic basket in tow, they skipped and giggled their way to the park. The grass was lush and green, the flowers were blooming in vibrant colors, and the air was filled with the sound of birdsong. They found a perfect spot under a shady tree and spread out their blanket. Quackers poured the lemonade into cups, while Bao arranged the snacks. Just as they were about to dig in, they realized something was missing. 'Where's our picnic basket?' Bao asked, his eyes wide with worry. Quackers searched the ground frantically. 'It's gone! Who would have taken it?' They looked around and noticed a group of sly foxes lurking nearby. Quackers and Bao confronted the foxes, but they denied any wrongdoing. Undeterred, they decided to follow the foxes. They trailed them through a winding path and into a dark cave. There, in the center of the cave, was their missing picnic basket! The foxes had stolen it to have a feast of their own. Quackers and Bao were furious. They charged at the foxes, quacking and growling. The foxes were taken by surprise and quickly surrendered. With their picnic basket safely retrieved, Quackers and Bao rushed back to the park. They spread out their blanket once again and enjoyed their well-deserved feast. As they ate their delicious snacks and sipped on their lemonade, they couldn't help but laugh at their adventure. They had solved a mystery, outsmarted the foxes, and had a wonderful picnic in the beautiful park.
