Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.

A 4y old boy goes to playground. He plays w other kids in the jungle gym. However, the boy is rough and the other kids get hurt and injured. The other kids don't play with him. The kid gets sad . He knows his parents can help and he goes to his parents. Parents tell him everybody has to learn how to go along with their companion, it is not just him.Even grown ups have to learn how to get along with their new friend. He should appreciate for any good things his friends say or do, request by saying please if he needs something, and say sorry if he makes a mistake.He should not push other kids. If he's feeling rushed and cannot wait, he should take the breath and count till 4 and repeat it. He tried these the next time playing . His friends liked him and he was happy. He appreciated his friends for playing with him and his parents who gave him the advice

Liam and dada are at dada's apartment and Liam isn't feeling too well. Dada is trying to cheer him up. Dada then asks liam what would make him feel better, and begins to make suggestions, a car, truck, bicycle, boat, etc. and eventually dada suggests and airplane. Liam perks up and says "Yeah! Airplane dada" and dada asks liam what color he'd like his plane to be. Liam reponds with "Blue, airplane. Blue Airplane dada". So dada and liam then go over to dada's computer (dual monitor setup on a black desk. They begin to shop online at amazon until her perfect little blue plane scrolls into view. seen in the attached photo. Dada asks Liam if he like the plane, he says "Yeah" with a big smile on his face. Dada knows exactly what he has to do. He buys the plane after liam is sound asleep, but dada then has a great idea. He hops over to chatgpt to create a book for liam. This is the book. After carefully crafting the book, ordering it, and getting it delivered everything is in place. Dada then reads the book to Liam which ends in him revealing the plane from the story. Then Liam runs around the room flying his brand new blue airplane, smiling and laughing. Dada sits next to Momma (seen in the second attached photo). She smiles and says "Wow, you really did it. Look at him, he's so happy" The end!

Scene 1 Sophie, the happy squirrel, loved jumping from branch to branch. She also loved making others smile and feel happy. Scene 2 One morning, Sophie saw her friend Finn, a gentle fox, sitting by himself near a tree. He seemed sad. Sophie skipped over and asked, “Hey Finn, you look sad. What’s wrong?” Finn sighed. “I sometimes feel like I don’t belong in the forest. Everyone’s busy, and I feel left out.” Scene 3 Sophie’s heart warmed. She didn’t want Finn to feel alone. “Don’t worry! We’ll spend the day together. You don’t need to fit in anywhere because you’re perfect just as you are!” Finn’s ears perked up. “Really?” “Of course! Let’s have fun exploring the forest!” Sophie said. Scene 4 The two friends explored the forest. Sophie bounced from branch to branch, and Finn trotted along, wagging his tail. They played, raced, and laughed together. Scene 5 They came to a glade with colorful flowers and a stream. Sophie twirled in the meadow and said, “See? The forest is beautiful, and you belong here, Finn.” Finn smiled. “You’re right, Sophie. I feel better now.” Scene 6 As the sun set, they sat on a rock, watching the stars. “This was the best day,” Finn said. “Thank you, Sophie. You made me so much happier.” Sophie smiled. “That’s what friends are for. I’m always here for you.” Scene 7 From then on, Sophie and Finn spent every day together in the forest, exploring, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. They knew that as long as they had each other, the forest would always feel like home.

Annie the Alpaca loves her peaceful meadow nestled among rolling hills, but venturing beyond this comfort zone fills her with anxiety. Anie does not want to go far from home. Once upon a time in a faraway land Portugal on the Island Madeira, there was a little puppy named Emmi. She was just a few months old, full of energy and joy, and loved to play under the palm trees on warm and sunny days. But one day, her life took a turn for the worse. Emmi suddenly got sick, and no one knew what was wrong with her. She couldn't eat, she couldn't play, and she was just standing under the palm trees looking sad and lost. That's when I saw her. I was walking by, and I noticed her there all alone, so weak and helpless. I approached her gently, and as soon as she saw me, she started wagging her tail and licking my hand. I knew I had to save her. I took Emmi to the doctor right away, and after a thorough check-up, the doctor concluded that she had a severe infection. Emmi needed urgent care and medication, which I couldn't afford. But I didn't give up on Emmi. I decided to take her with me to Finland, where she could get the best care and attention she needed. It wasn't an easy journey, but with the help of kind people along the way, we finally made it to Finland. Emmi was thrilled to see the snow for the first time, and she couldn't stop jumping and running around. She had never felt so alive and happy again. She loved playing in the snow, chasing snowflakes, and cuddling up next to me in front of the warm fireplace. As she got better and stronger every day, I realized how much wisdom we can learn from animals like Emmi. She reminded me that even though life can be tough and challenging, we should never give up hope. Just like Emmi, we should always keep fighting and look for the light at the end of the tunnel. Emmi also taught me the importance of kindness and compassion towards all living beings. Just like I rescued Emmi, we should always be there to help our furry friends in need. They bring so much joy and love to our lives, and we should never forget to give back to them. And so, Emmi and I lived happily ever after!
