Tuwing Pebrero, ipinagdiriwang ang pista ng mga bulaklak sa Lungsod ng Baguio. Kilala rin ito sa tawag na Pista ng Panagbenga. Ang Panagbenga ay salitang galing sa Cordillera na ang kahulugan ay panahon ng pagbukadkad ng bulaklak. Binibigyang halaga sa pistang ito ang naggagandahang bulaklak kung saan kilala ang lungsod na ito. Nagsimula ang pagdiriwang ng Panagbenga noong 1995. Isinagawa ng pistang ito para maiangat muli ang Lungsod ng Baguio mula sa malagim na lindol noong 1990. Maraming gawain ang makikita sa pagdiriwang ng Panagbenga. Ang pinakasikat at inaabangang gawain tuwing pista ng bulaklak ay ang parada. Kasama sa paradang ito ay sayawan sa kalsada at pagtugtog ng mga banda. Pinakabida sa paradang ito ang mga higanteng karosa na puno ng mga magaganda at mababangong bulaklak. Sa paggawa ng karosang ito, ipinakikita ng mga Pilipino ang kanilang pagiging malikhain at pagiging matulungin. Ipinaparada ang mga ito sa malalaking kalsada ng lungsod. Maraming mga taong galing pa sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Pilipinas ang dumadayo sa Baguio upang mapanood ito.

George would bend his long neck and pluck the juiciest, freshest leaves from the treetops. He would share them with Daisy, who would happily munch away, enjoying a treat she could never reach on her own. In return, Daisy showed George how to move more gracefully on the ground. “Step lightly,” she taught him. “Feel the ground under your hooves. Try to move like the wind – softly and swiftly.” George practiced every day. At first, he was a bit clumsy, but Daisy encouraged him. “You’re getting better!” she cheered. “Just keep trying!” “We’re helping each other,” Daisy replied proudly. “George is teaching me to reach new heights, and I’m helping him move gracefully.” From that day on, Daisy and George’s friendship grew even stronger, and soon other animals joined them. They realized that everyone had something special to offer.

Ringtails were special because they were not only cute and affectionate but also incredibly skilled at keeping cabins and mines free of disease-spreading rodents and insects. One day, I met Kirby in the park. Then we decided to go on an adventure. First, we went to Japan and saw a big volcano. It was very beautiful. After that, we went to a hotel and stayed for two days. On the first day, we had dinner. It was delicious! On the second day, we visited the zoo. There were lions, capybaras, and monkeys. We had so much fun! Then we went to a toy shop and bought a Kirby doll. On the third day, as we were heading home, the volcano suddenly erupted! Kirby and I ran away as fast as we could. Kirby shouted, “Hurry up! Let’s get on the plane!” So, we quickly left Japan. Four hours later, we arrived home safely. We had so much fun in Japan!
