Alex looked at Poppy, his heart racing. “We need to get out of here!” With a nod of agreement, they started to tip-toe behind the mountains of treasure in the sea witch’s cave. Suddenly, they spotted a golden starfish that shimmered brightly—it looked magical! “Let’s grab it!” shouted Poppy, reaching out. As they grasped the starfish together, a brilliant light filled the cave! With a bright flash, the starfish granted them one wish. The friends looked at each other, grinned, and shouted together, “Take us back home!” In an instant, they found themselves back on the sandy beach, the sun shining down once more. They cheered and hugged each other. “Where have you been?” Alex’s mum asked. “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you!” Alex laughed.

John Jr showed Yuēhàn how to look stuff up on the internet. 2. John Jr discovered The Mexican–American War,, was an invasion of Mexico by the United States Army from 1846 to 1848. It followed the 1845 American annexation of Texas, which Mexico still considered its territory because it refused to recognize the Treaties of Velasco, signed by President Antonio López de Santa Anna after he was captured by the Texian Army during the 1836 Texas Revolution. The Republic of Texas was de facto an independent country, but most of its Anglo-American citizens who had moved from the United States to Texas after 1822 wanted to be annexed by the United States. 3. John Jr started to explain to Yuēhàn the key battles of the Mexican American War. Battle of Monterrey The first major battle of the war, which took place in 1846. Mexican forces were able to repel the first few attacks by U.S. forces, but eventually surrendered. Back at the NYC School Construction Authority, the BOT is sitting on a desk. Kol, the developer talks to the BOT and says, “You are going to have a special job”. BOT jumps up and down with excitement. Developer continues to type away code on the computer keyboard. Next day, when XMS gets to his desk, he is ready to perform his function. XMS leaps onto the computer screen and something magical happens. All the computer screens transform into a cozy Christmas Yule Log Fireplaces. Co-workers gathered around sharing stories. XMS can now rest and watch Christmas movies.

She unravels one of her favorite sweaters, with small golden glitter woven into the wool threads, she pulls apart the yarn and makes a big pile of wool, placing it into a shoebox for her friend to return to its nest to keep warm. on Christmas day the wool was gone and she followed a path of pieces of wool that had dropped on the snow to a tree where she found her raven friend in a tree surrounded by the glittery wool. in the spring a flock of ravens all bring small gifts to the back porch for the girl.
