In the magical land of Numberville, the numbers lived in cozy houses on a street called Place Value Lane. There were two neighborhoods: Tens Town and Ones Village. One day, in Ones Village, the number 3 was trying to give 5 apples to a friend, but there was a problem. 3 didn't have enough apples! Oh no! How can I give 5 apples when I only have 3? thought the number. But in Numberville, the numbers always help each other. So, 3 had an idea: "I’ll borrow some apples from my neighbor in Tens Town!" So, 3 went next door to Tens Town to talk to the number 6 who lived there. "Hey 6, I need to give away more apples than I have. Can I borrow some from you?" 6 smiled and said, "Of course! We’re neighbors, and neighbors always help out." So, 6 gave 1 of its apples to 3, but because it was from Tens Town, it was worth 10 apples! Now, 3 turned into 13 with the borrowed apples! "Yay!" said 13. "Now I have more than enough to give away 5 apples." After sharing 5 apples, 13 was left with 8 apples. And since 6 gave 1 apple to Ones Village, it turned into 5 in Tens Town. The numbers were happy because they helped each other, and everyone got exactly what they needed. And so, whenever a number doesn’t have enough to subtract, they just borrow from their neighbors in Tens Town, and everything works out perfectly.

**The Great Treasure Hunt** In a peaceful meadow lived three friends: Mimi the playful cat, Lulu the curious frog, and Didi the cheerful duck. One day near their favorite pond, Mimi found a weathered map. “It’s a treasure map!” she exclaimed. Excited, they decided to follow it. The map led them deep into the forest, where they faced challenges. First, they cleared a thorny bush blocking a cave entrance, with Mimi skillfully swiping the thorns away. Inside, glowing crystals lit their way until they reached a wide chasm. “We’ll build a bridge!” suggested Didi. Together, they stacked rocks, with Lulu positioning the heaviest ones. Soon, they crossed safely. At the cave's end, they found a chest. Expecting gold, they opened it to reveal an old book filled with stories and poems about friendship and adventures. “This isn’t treasure,” Lulu said. “Maybe it’s better,” Mimi replied. Didi smiled. “The real treasure was the journey—and our memories.” The friends returned home with the book, reading its stories daily and cherishing their adventure and their friendship. They learned the best treasures are found in the bonds they share.

Karsen's Sunday Adventures It’s Sunday morning! Karsen wakes up early, rubs his sleepy eyes, and kneels beside his bed to pray. After praying, Karsen quickly fixes his bed. He folds his blanket neatly and fluffs his pillow. Karsen goes to church with his grandma and older sister. They walk hand in hand, ready to start the day with worship. After church, they visit the park. Karsen enjoys the fresh air and plays while they have a little picnic. When they get home, Karsen helps clean the house with his sister. They sweep, dust, and put everything in its place. Karsen also helps his grandma in the garden. Together, they water the plants and pull out weeds. In the afternoon, Karsen joins his sister and friends to clean their neighborhood. They pick up trash and sweep the streets. At night, Karsen enjoys watching TV with his family while having a light dinner. Before bedtime, he kneels once more to pray and thank God for a wonderful day.

Antonio es un niño muy curioso. Vive con su mamá Flor, su papá Ale y su hermana Sofi en Buenos Aires. Fueron todos juntos en auto a la granja, el caballito fue corriendo a encontrarse con su papá y su mamá. Relinchaban de alegría. Antonio y Sofi sentían pena de dejarlo ahí, por lo que decidieron llevarse a toda la familia al departamento. Les armaron una casa con bloques de madera y fueron todos muy felices.
