A shiny white pebble meant "collect the eggs," a task usually handled by the pigs (who, surprisingly, had a knack for finding even the most hidden eggs). And a brown pebble meant "hay time," a job for the strong horses. But Mandy Moo wasn't just a manager. She was a skilled operator, a master of the farm's machinery, and a whiz with a wrench. The little tractor was easy for her, but she could also handle the truck, driving it with surprising agility to transport supplies around the property. Sometimes, when the harvest was in full swing, she'd even take the combine harvester for a spin, expertly maneuvering it through the fields. In order to deal with her many emotions, Hazel could use different types of things. Hazel can use the books and drawing toy Bella brought back from her room. Lots of children give plastic bottle lids to Lids4Kids to be recycled. Lids4Kids volunteers sort them into color categories as a group. The colored lids are divided into 3 groups before being poured into a big machine that mulches them into small flakes. Another machine melts the flakes and extrudes them into a metal mold in the shape of slats for a bench. Volunteers then use carpentry tools to build a colorful bench.
