They told her how nice she looked as Janice smiled broadly. The girls spent the rest of the evening in he family room, welcoming their new sister and showing her how to do things like a girl. Janice changed into a pink waltz-length nightgown. Megan showed her how to remove her makeup and properly cleanse her face. Mom insisted that they needed to get some sleep and that they had the entire week to get know with their new sister. For Janice, sleep came easily, despite her excitement and newfound identity. She dreamed of being Mom's Christmas elf and wearing a green satin dress just like her sisters. She awoke the next morning happy and eager to face the day. The week went by quickly for the girls. Megan was Janice's primary teacher during the week but Lindsay and Kerry also helped. Janice was enjoying new persona, her sisters were enjoying having her with them. You hurt your leg!” Aqma exclaimed. Their argument was punctuated by the growing sounds of children on the playground." "Hurry, get up before you're trampled!" Aqma urged. "I can barely stand!" Rina retorted. Aqma offered his hand. "You said you just fell, but you can't stand. Let me help." Rina accepted, and Aqma helped her to stand up. In a quieter place, Aqma tried to clean Rina's wound. “How is it? Does it feel better?” asked Aqma. “Yes, better, thank you.” Rina replied softly. “I'm Rina, by the way.” “I'm Aqma.” Aqma and Rina shook hands. “Thank you, you're better than I thought,” Rina said with a smile. Before it got too late, Aqma helped Rina back to her house. “Rina!” said Rina's mother. “Are you alright?” “I'm fine, mom, thanks to Aqma.” said Rina. Rina's mother turned to Aqma. “Thank you for accompanying Rina to play and helping her.” said Rina's mother with a smile. Before Aqma left, Rina stopped her. “Aqma! Let's meet and play together tomorrow” Smiling, Aqma agreed. From that day on, Rina and Aqma became close friends, and shared many adventures together.

The captain of the Mayflower was Christopher Jones. 3. John Jr went on that The pilgrims wanted to separate from the Church of Egland and they believed God wanted them to voyage to America. During the voyage, the pilgrims passed the time by reading by candlelight or playing cards and games. Upon the arrival on land, the pilgrims were surprised to see the ground frozen and that led to their inability to plant and harvest food. 4. John Jr told Yuehan about the native Indians giving a hand to the pilgrims. The Indians taught the pilgrims how to gather food and survival skills. The help from the Indians save 53 pilgrims from ultimately perishing. Most of the pilgrims died from diseases described as a mixture of scurvy, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. 5. The following year, the 53 pilgrims and 90 Wampanoag Indians had a celebration that we now call Thanksgiving. The Mayflower was torn apart after Christopher Jones passed away. 6. John Jr and Yuehan started counting down the days to Thanksgiving. They planned a special tribute and prayer for the Pilgrim and Indians!
