1. Sydney is shocked by her low test score and shares it with John. She admits she didn’t study as her mom instructed and fears her mom will be mad. 2. John encourages Sydney to tell the truth, explaining that lying isn’t the right choice, even though he too has a bad score. Sydney decides to hide her score from her mom, despite John’s suggestion. 3. At home, Sydney lies to her mom about her score, but feels guilty. She becomes increasingly uneasy as the day goes on. 4.
