Put your hand on your heart, close your eyes, and feel your heart, beating, alive. Look around! Our souls are like this garden. A long time ago, God made the first souls, in a garden. He made our souls with so much love and creativity. They're beautiful and complex, and we can learn from them when pay attention to how they work. There are many moving parts to make it work together and make You, YOU."

Nat the cat went for a walk. She saw a big house. The door was open. Nat went in just like that! She saw three hats. A big hat, a flat hat, and a small hat. Nat tried the big hat. "It is too big!" she said. Nat tried the flat hat. "It is too flat!" she said. Nat tried the small hat. "It is just right!" she said. Then—PAT! PAT! PAT! The hats' owners came back! It was a bat, a rat, and a gnat! They saw Nat with the small hat. "That is MY hat!" said the rat. Nat ran out—just like that! Nat got her own hat. Now everyone is glad!

It was cleaning day at the Jones house. Mr. Jones was cleaning, the garage. Mrs. Jones was feeding Ophelia lunch. Ophelia loved to eat.she smacked her lips as she grabbed the cheese stick her mother offered her. Ophilia was reaching for her blueberries when her hand bumped her bowl and splat her apple sauce hit the floor. Her bowl rolled across the floor. Her meat stick flew up in the dog bowl.

Deep in the Australian bush, a young kangaroo named Jumpo was full of energy and curiosity. But one thing bothered him—he couldn’t jump yet! The other kangaroos soared effortlessly through the grass, while Jumpo just watched. Determined to learn, he hopped over to his wise friend, Wally the Wallaby. “To jump, you need to build some skills,” Wally said. Balance: “Start by walking forward, backward, and on uneven ground like sand to steady your feet.” Foot Position: “Keep your feet shoulder-width apart. This gives you a strong base and helps your arches.” Coordination: “Jumping is about timing—bend your knees and straighten them at the right moment.” Strength: “Your calf muscles give you the push you need to leave the ground.” Wally started Jumpo with simple exercises. Step 1: Bouncing Wally held Jumpo’s hips and bounced him on a soft cushion. Soon, Jumpo felt the rhythm and tried bouncing on his own. “Next, try bouncing on a trampoline or your bed,” Wally suggested. Step 2: Standing on Tiptoes “To learn the push-off, practice standing tall,” Wally said. Jumpo reached for toys while on tiptoes, then practiced walking on them. Step 3: Bouncing on Tiptoes “Now try bouncing up and pushing onto your tiptoes,” Wally instructed. Jumpo held onto a sturdy branch at first and then tried it alone. After weeks of practice, Jumpo felt ready for his first jump. He bent his knees, pushed off with his toes, and… he was airborne! “See, Jumpo? Jumping is about practice and balance,” Wally cheered. From that day, Jumpo practiced daily, soon bounding through the bush like the other kangaroos.

Villagers often crossed it to gather wood and berries, but the hill was difficult for the youngest and oldest among them. In Sunnyslope lived the Millers, a family known for their kindness and inventive spirit. The youngest, Lily, noticed how her grandparents struggled to climb the hill during their weekly walks. Determined to help, she pondered a solution day and night. One sunny morning, as she watched her father, a skilled carpenter, work, inspiration struck. "Father, could we build something to make the hill easier to climb?" she asked. Her father, intrigued, listened as Lily described her idea: an inclined plane to ease the climb. Together, they sketched plans and gathered materials. They decided to build a gently sloping ramp that zigzagged up the hill, with benches along the way for resting. The villagers, inspired by the Millers' initiative, offered to help. After several days of hard work, the ramp was complete. It was a beautiful path, bordered by flowers planted by the villagers. The first to use it were Lily's grandparents, who walked up the hill with ease and joy. Soon, other villagers followed, enjoying the new path that made their journey easier and more pleasant. Lovingly named "Lily's Path," the inclined plane became a symbol of the village's unity and ingenuity. It brought people closer to nature and to each other. The villagers often gathered there, sharing stories and enjoying the view from the hilltop. Lily learned that even small ideas could make a big difference when fueled by compassion and supported by a community. Her heart swelled with pride every time she saw someone using the path, a reminder that kindness and creativity could indeed move mountains—or at least make them easier to climb.
