Tilly has long red hair and is 8 years old. She loves visiting her grandmother on the island. One of her favorite things to do is visiting the wood sprites. The wood sprites are faces carved on oak trees. There is even a mermaid carved on a tree. There is even a legend behind it.

Clappy is an extremely joyful young boy who enjoys playing, making new friends, and is adored by everyone around him. Clappy has a younger sibling named Boo, who frequently feels down and sheds tears easily over minor issues. Boo tends to ignore advice from others. Clappy is well-liked by many due to his cheerful and kind nature. He generously shares his toys and food, enjoys helping others, and displays bravery. Furthermore, he attentively listens to his parents and strives to be a well-behaved boy. Boo, however, doesn't have many friends. Kids tend to stay away from him because he is constantly sad, cries often, and is selfish. He refuses to share his toys and can be unkind to others. Boo also struggles to admit his faults and tends to lie frequently. Over time, Clappy gains popularity and builds many new friendships, thoroughly enjoying his life and having a great time. Meanwhile, Boo finds himself always alone, with no one to play with, which leaves him feeling lonely and despondent. It dawns on him that he is unliked and completely isolated. One day, Clappy sees Boo sitting by himself, looking sad. Clappy doesn’t like what he sees and goes to Boo, asking why he is sitting all alone. Boo replies, “It’s because no one wants to play with me. Nobody seems to like me.” Clappy hears what Boo says and replies, “Dear brother, I have some advice for you. You need to try to be good to others. Try sharing your things. Try to help others. Try to be kind.” Boo heeds his brother's advice but chooses not to act on it. His perspective is, "My toys belong to me alone, and I have no intention of sharing them with anyone." Boo is unwilling to take the high road and be generous in sharing his possessions. Instead, he desires everyone to comply with his wishes without question. But who likes to be around a person who is grumpy, unkind, and doesn’t share? Days go by, and Boo is still alone. In Poland where it is very cold there are many PayU employees. One of them is Marcin who works with his friends to make sure that the payment stays on course when the lakes freeze over. Claudia is the brave woman leading the charge in Romania where it is also very cold. In Turkey Erdem, Erdost, Ergun and Irem work at Iyzico with the PayU team. Hsin is another brave young lady who works at Red Dot along with her other friends at PayU. Esti is the vibrant lawyer who makes sure that Africa is not a continent that is forgotten. She works with her team members to make sure that she holds the PayU name in high regard. Together they all make a strong team. Whatever the future holds they know that if they have each other they can withstand anything that the future holds. Even though they are far apart they come together to make a great legal eagle PayU team.

The protagonist is soon to be become a full fledged wizard, but until that happens he/she must go through a series of challenges. There is a friendly teacher, Ms. Melania, she is old and wise. She teaches potions.

A little girl named Alena is a witch, she lives with her grandmother Evdokia, who is also a witch and helps her in everything. Alena has red hair and green eyes, and she also has her little assistant - a black cat - Isaac, who helps her comprehend the world of magic and potions.
