It points high into the sky. “Pharaoh Khufu built this long ago,” says Rami. “Our people believe the pharaoh is very important.” Page 5 Inside the pyramid, they see stone walls covered with hieroglyphs, the ancient Egyptian way of writing. Pictures of birds, eyes, and shapes tell stories about the pharaoh’s life. Page 6 They quietly walk into a room with a sarcophagus, a big stone box that holds a mummy. “This mummy was once a great ruler,” says Rami. Sam and Ava feel a little scared, but also very curious! Page 7 At midday, they visit the busy market. People trade goods like wheat, dates, and cloth. “We use boats to carry our goods along the Nile,” explains Rami. Sam and Ava see bright, woven baskets full of fruit. Page 8 It is time to say goodbye. Rami waves. “Come again!” Sam and Ava open the magic book and zoom back home. Their hearts are full of wonder at all they have learned about Ancient Egypt.

Green declared “With teamwork and optimism, there is no need to be scared!“Together we can solve this tricky maze, just use your imagination to problem solve in creative ways! 10. Quanada house is a home for parents and children that people stay at when their home isn't safe. It is a safe place that looks like a big house with an upstairs that has 5 bedrooms. Throughout the story, Scarlett shows the family their room, the dining room and kitchen, and the playroom. Scarlett the shelter dog helps the child make their bed up in their new room and brings toys to help it feel more like home. The child is sad about leaving their home but scarlett makes them feel better. Then they go downstairs and watch tv and eat a snack in the family room. After they eat, they go upstairs and brush their teeth and go to sleep in their temporary home.
