1. Jed was a young boy who lived in a small village at the foot of a mountain. 2. One day, a group of bandits came to the village and started to terrorize the people. They stole food, money, and anything else they could get their hands on. 3. Jed knew that he had to do something to stop the bandits. He gathered a group of his friends and they decided to climb the mountain to find help. 4. After several hours of climbing, they finally reached the top of the mountain. There, they met an old man who lived in a small hut. The old man listened to their story and agreed to help them. 5. Jed and his friends followed the map and soon found themselves overlooking the bandits’ camp. 6. The people of the village were overjoyed when they heard the news. They threw a big celebration in honor of Jed and his friends. 7.From that day on, Jed was known as the bravest boy in the village. He continued to help others and to stand up for what was right.

Her curiosity takes her on a journey to discover what meditation is about and finds her learning the marvelous practices of meditation, skills which she is hoping to teach her older brother in an attempt to combat their sibling rivalry. The Arabella Series is based on the quote by the Dali Lama “If every eight year old was taught to meditate, we would achieve world peace in one generation” and is written to bring an awareness of energy healing and practices such as meditation to children around the world. It is my vision to create kind and magical role models for children, to light a spark in them that encourages compassion, forgiveness and love.

Lea’s eyes widened as she saw something magical—a doorway to another world! 5: Her mom laughed and held her hand. “Let’s see where it goes, Lea.” 6: Together, they stepped through the glowing door and found themselves in a beautiful meadow filled with blue flowers and sparkling rivers. “Wow!” Lea said, her eyes shining. “It’s so blue!” 7: In the meadow, they met a group of little animals who were in a bit of trouble. A squirrel couldn’t find its acorns, and a bunny needed help gathering carrots for its family. Lea eagerly helped them, always holding her mom’s hand as they explored. With her kind heart and a little imagination, 8: Lea used her paintbrush to create magical blue trails to guide the animals back to their homes. The squirrel found its acorns, the bunny was able to feed its family, 9: everyone cheered for Lea.When they returned home through the magical doorway, 10: Lea looked up at her mom and smiled. “Helping is fun, Mama!” 11: Her mom hugged her. “Yes, it is. And you’re such a brave and kind little girl.” 12: That night, as Lea snuggled in her bed under her blue blanket, she dreamed of the magical blue world and all the friends she had made. She didn’t need to wander far from home to have adventures—her imagination could take her anywhere.

The Magic of Nature One sunny morning, Lily and her little brother Tom went to the park with their Grandpa. As they walked, Grandpa smiled and said, “Do you know that everything around us is connected?” Tom looked around. “What do you mean, Grandpa?” Grandpa pointed to the sky. “Look at the air. We breathe it to stay alive, and so do the animals and plants!” Lily took a deep breath. “Wow! So air helps us all!” Grandpa nodded. “And water is just as important. It gives us something to drink, helps plants grow, and provides a home for fish and frogs!” Tom ran to a small pond and saw ducks swimming. “Water is amazing!” Next, Grandpa bent down and picked up a handful of soil. “Soil helps plants grow. Without it, trees, flowers, and food plants wouldn’t grow!” Lily looked at the green grass and trees. “And plants give us food, shade, and air to breathe!” Grandpa smiled. “Yes! And animals? They help nature too! Birds spread seeds, bees help flowers grow, and animals keep the forest healthy.” Tom laughed as he saw a squirrel running up a tree. “Everything works together!” Grandpa nodded. “Yes! That’s why we must take care of our air, water, soil, plants, and animals. They make the world a happy and healthy place!” Lily and Tom promised to always respect nature. As they walked home, they felt grateful for the wonderful world around them. The End.
