There was once a loving mule. This mule loved to dance around his mama and eat all the green grass it could see. no matter how tired it got it always knew that his mom loved him. The mule was going around and much bigger now. He loved to play and to spend time around his loving mother. However, it was getting colder and colder and the grass was no longer green and there was not a lot of food around. His mother gave him her share of the hay and the mule understood that he was truly loved and shared this with her to return that love. one day a bad man who was always angry came and took him away from his mother. This man would hardly let him eat and always worked him all day long with hardly giving him a break. The mule thought this man must not know what love is and was going to try to show this man what love is. For 3 days the mule would work and work and work. but it was never hard enough for the man wouldn't even feed him at the end of the day. The mule cried and was so very hungry and thought "how can I show this man what is love?" The man took the mule into town and piled a bunch of food in front of him to eat. there was another man there though. This man was holding a single piece of bread. At first the mule was confused with the choice. But something in that bread felt like his mothers love from a long long time ago. He was so shocked thinking how could this be? that he knelt in front of this bread he knew was the source of all love. Hoping this would show the mean man that love requires all of us to sacrifice sometimes. The man was so shocked that he knelt down in front of the bread too and he yelled with tears and joy that this must be God. For surely God must be love

Just as they began, a baby whale swam over. “What’s going on?” the whale asked curiously. “We’re cleaning the ocean,” Dolphin explained. “Can I help?” the whale asked with a big smile. “I can use my tail to push the trash into a pile.” The friends were happy to have more help. 5. The team got to work. Dolphin grabbed plastic bottles with his fins. Turtle picked up plastic bags floating near the coral. Starfish collected smaller pieces of trash stuck on the ocean floor. Clownfish swam around carefully, making sure nothing was left behind. The baby whale used its strong tail to push the trash into one big pile. They all worked hard together! 6. After hours of teamwork, the ocean was finally clean again. The water became clear, and colorful fish swam happily among the healthy coral reefs. The friends looked around with pride. “We did it! Great job, everyone!” Dolphin said with a big smile. 7. A pufferfish swam over and said, “Thank you for cleaning the ocean! Now it’s safe and beautiful again.” “We’ll make sure it stays this way,” said Turtle. Dolphin nodded. “If we all work together, the ocean will stay clean and beautiful forever.” The friends cheered and swam off, ready to protect their home every day.

1. John Jr and Durga learned about the Armor of God at Bible Camp. They wanted to learn more and asked the camp counselor for more information. 2. John Jr and Durga found the verse about the Armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-18. They decided to break the verse down to better understand it. 3.The verse started out "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [wiles of the devil. " John Jr asked Durga if he knew how to be strong in the Lord. Durga said that Your spirit thrives on being connected to the earth, the world around you and to others. 3. Then John Jr explored the meaning of the verse , "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of ]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Durga didn't understand the Flesh and blood part. John Jr explained that the battle is spiritual, not physical. He says that the enemies we face are not people or objects, but rather an unseen spiritual enemy. 4. The last part of the verse is "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." John Jr told Durga that they needed to stand against evil by Being Strong in the Lord., Standing on God's Word, Don't Lose Heart and Standing in Faith. 5. John Jr and Durga decide that they would try putting on the armor of God by reading and praying God's word, and remembering that God's righteousness protects them, and that they can have faith in his promises.
