Mako says she does not know that song because she does not celebrate Christmas. The other children ask Mako to just sit out. Ms. Dennis tells them no, they are not going to exclude someone. Ms. Dennis tells the children find something they have in common, and asks them to bring an item that symbolizes the holidays they celebrate. When the children return, Avery brought a red, a blue, and a gold candle Avery's family celebrates Human Light, the candles represent, reason, compassion & hope. River brings in a crown made of holly candles sticking out of it. her family celebrates Winter Solstice & the return of the sun. Ms. Dennis says all their celebrations revolve around light and the symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Church is a flaming chalice, each of the children have a light inside of them. River suggests they sing "This little light of mine" for the winter concert. Everyone agrees.

There was an old Chinese farmer Ken who was kind, honest, and hardworking. His vineyard had a successful harvest every year due to his diligence. However, he faced a major problem - his three sons ,Alex, Ben and Cliff were very lazy. Realizing that his health was declining and his days were numbered, the farmer summoned his sons and revealed a secret: he had buried treasures in the vineyard, and upon his death, they could search for them. After the farmer passed away, the three sons, driven by the desire for wealth, went to the vineyard to dig for the treasures. Despite meticulously clearing weeds, stones, and even turning over the soil, the sons failed to find any treasure. They repeatedly searched the vineyard, growing suspicious and questioning whether their father had lied to them. In the end, the sons discovered that their father had indeed buried a mysterious treasure in the vineyard, leading them to newfound wealth.

A chorus of cheers erupted as Micha, Christian, Peter, Abigail, Avisena, and Alvaro rushed toward the cozy corner filled with books. The shelves were lined with colorful covers, each one holding a new adventure. “Wow! So many books!” Micha exclaimed, running his fingers along the spines. The students took the books and read them. 3. After a while, he gathered them in a circle. “Let’s share our favorite parts,” he encouraged. Micha’s eyes sparkled. “I love the adventure! The boy in my book explores jungles and mountains.” Christian spread his arms like wings. “I wish I could fly too! Imagine soaring above the clouds.” “I want to grow my own magical garden,” Abigail said, clasping her hands together. “Wouldn’t it be amazing?” Peter sat up straight. “I’d love to be a brave prince, just like in my book.” Alvaro nudged Avisena. “The bear and the bird remind me of us. Even though they’re different, they’re still best friends.” 4. Mr. Darfi nodded, his heart full. “That’s the magic of books. They show us that we all have special stories to tell. And most importantly, they remind us that everyone belongs.” The children smiled at each other, feeling proud of who they were. “We’ll share our stories too!” Mr. Darfi beamed. “That’s the spirit. Mandy Moo wasn't just any ordinary cow. She was super-duper smart, the real brains behind the operation, and the fearless hero of old Farmer Tom's farm! Old farmer Tom, bless his old sleepy heart, mostly took long naps under a big tree every day, leaving the day-to-day running of the farm entirely in Mandy Moo's capable hands. Every morning, Mandy Moo meticulously planned the day's activities. She used a system of colored pebbles to assign tasks to each of the farm animals. A grey pebble meant "drive the little tractor!" (the chickens were surprisingly adept at this, though they weren't allowed near the bigger tractors, those were for Mandy). A spotty pebble signified "fence mending" (the sheep, surprisingly strong and surprisingly good with knots, were responsible for this). A shiny white pebble meant "collect the eggs," a task usually handled by the pigs (who, surprisingly, had a knack for finding even the most hidden eggs). And a brown pebble meant "hay time," a job for the strong horses. But Mandy Moo wasn't just a manager. She was a skilled operator, a master of the farm's machinery, and a whiz with a wrench. The little tractor was easy for her, but she could also handle the truck, driving it with surprising agility to transport supplies around the property. Sometimes, when the harvest was in full swing, she'd even take the combine harvester for a spin, expertly maneuvering it through the fields. And if something broke down on the farm, Mandy could often be found wielding a wrench, fixing whatever needed fixing. She could repair a leaky pipe, tighten a loose bolt on the hay baler, or even patch a hole in the chicken coop, all with a surprising level of skill and precision
