The teacher gladly agreed, and they soon arrived at the auditorium in time for Eva to receive her diploma. 7. After graduation, Eva thanked Ms. Lily again, and she told Eva that she didn’t need her thanks and that becoming a teacher was never about money or being praised. A Library Book is excited to be the newest book in the library. Children are excited to borrow the new book. we follow one boy on his week with the library book reading it in the back of his car, at dr appointments and at bedtime. When the boy returns the book to the library a new boy checks it out. This boy is named Edward. Edward does not take care of the library book. He leaves it on the floor. A dog picks up the book in its mouth and carries it outside. Edwards mom finds the book outside and puts it in a dark closet. The library book is so sad. He sits in the dark closet for weeks until a letter comes from the library saying "Please return this book to the library, if this book has gone missing, please replace the book so others can enjoy it" Edward forgot all about the library book! He looks in all the regular places, on his bookshelf, under his bed. He can't find it anywhere! Finally Edwards mom tells Edward, "Maybe we need to start looking in some weird places" Edward looks on top of the fridge, behind the computer, even in his dirty clothes basket. Edward finally opens up the closet to find the lost library book! Edward and his mom bring the book back to the library where a young girl promptly checks it out again

Page 1 Sam and Ava are best friends. They love to learn about faraway places. One sunny day, they open a magic book and whoosh—they find themselves in Ancient Egypt! Page 2 The air is hot and dry. Sam and Ava see palm trees growing near a wide, flowing river. A friendly boy named Rami waves and says, “Welcome to the River Nile!” He shows them how people use the river water to help plants grow. Page 3 They walk along the riverbank and find tall reeds. Rami explains, “We use these reeds to make papyrus, a special paper for writing.” Ava gently touches the soft green stems. Page 4 Next, Rami leads them to a huge pyramid. It points high into the sky. “Pharaoh Khufu built this long ago,” says Rami. “Our people believe the pharaoh is very important.” Page 5 Inside the pyramid, they see stone walls covered with hieroglyphs, the ancient Egyptian way of writing. Pictures of birds, eyes, and shapes tell stories about the pharaoh’s life. Page 6 They quietly walk into a room with a sarcophagus, a big stone box that holds a mummy. “This mummy was once a great ruler,” says Rami. Sam and Ava feel a little scared, but also very curious! Page 7 At midday, they visit the busy market. People trade goods like wheat, dates, and cloth. “We use boats to carry our goods along the Nile,” explains Rami. Sam and Ava see bright, woven baskets full of fruit. Page 8 It is time to say goodbye. Rami waves. “Come again!” Sam and Ava open the magic book and zoom back home. Their hearts are full of wonder at all they have learned about Ancient Egypt.

A grandma intervenes when her two grandchildren are yelling and screaming at each other because the big brother forget that he had to help his little sister rehearse for her school's audition. The grandma sits them down and tells them about a story about Santa when chaos breaks out in his home because everything is not working and his helpers and reindeers are panicking because things are so hectic. santa is saddened because they all forgot his birthday. He is so hurt that he allows his feelings to get the best of him and on christmas eve he leads his reindeers intoa blizzard that caused them to crash. Only santa and rudolph are lost and the others rush back home to tell what happened. Morale of the story is always being present for loved ones and not wait for them to be gone to care.

At the bakery, her father bought a cake for the family. They all sat down that evening to enjoy the chocolate cake with sprinkles on top. Later, the little girl asked for a book to read before bed. Her mother handed her the storybook they had just borrowed from the library. In the morning, she looked out the window and noticed a bird chirping on a branch. It wasn’t long before the bluebird flew down to perch on their fence. For lunch, she wanted a sandwich with lots of toppings. Her dad made the turkey sandwich she loved with pickles and mustard. That afternoon, she drew a picture to give to her teacher. Everyone at school admired the painting she had worked so hard on. As the day ended, she snuggled into bed, holding a stuffed animal she had since she was a baby. She smiled as she cuddled the teddy bear that always made her feel safe. And so, the little girl learned that while a begins a story, it’s the that makes it special.
