Page 2 The bus drives along the mountain road to Lung Yeuk Tau. Alex tells Emma, "The mountains here look like a dragon jumping, so it’s called Lung Yeuk Tau!" Emma laughs and says, "That’s so interesting!" Page 3 They arrive at the old village called Old Wai and see the tall walls. Emma asks, "Why are the walls so thick here?" The teacher replies, "They were built to keep pirates away!" Page 4 The kids see an old well. Alex points and says, "This well was used by villagers for drinking water." Emma looks closely and says, "The well has a metal cover. That’s special!" Page 5 Next, they visit the Tin Hau Temple. Emma is surprised and says, "There are so many statues in the temple!" The teacher explains, "These are the gods that protect the village. We can pray here for blessings." Page 6 In the temple, the kids see two old bronze bells. Emma asks, "What are these bells for?" The teacher says, "People ring the bells to tell the gods and pray for safety." Page 7 Before the trip ends, the kids take pictures on the village path. They agree to come back next time to join the village’s traditional activities and learn more about the culture. Page 8 Back at school, Alex and Emma excitedly share their trip stories. One winter day Sarah was walking in the forest and met Santa's Elf. The Elf told her that Santa was sick and would not be able to deliver all the presents to the children on time. The Elf asked Sarah for help, he said that only a child with a good and brave heart would be able to replace Santa and save the holidays. Sarah agreed. She did not want the children to not get presents on Christmas and be sad. Sarah went to the elf factory, where the elves make and wrap Christmas presents. Sarah helped wrap the presents and checked if each child got the right present. Sarah got to know Santa's reindeer and also visited Santa. Santa thanked her very much for her help. Sarah wrapped the presents on the sleigh. She got on the sleigh, and the reindeer flew high into the sky. Sarah went to every house on the night before Christmas and left presents for the children. It was a wonderful adventure. All the children were happy, and Christmas was, as usual, special.

He’s a celebrity!” Hermione started to talk. He ignored the nerdy stuff about like spells, books, dungeons. Elias did pick up a few words from Hermione “There was this one big purple door, it says “keep out” we should probably not go near it, rumours say it’s filled with dark spirits...”

Page 3: Just then, a soft whoo-whoo came from the branches above. It was Grandpa Owl, with gentle eyes and a knowing smile, he swooped down beside Milo. Page 4: Milo blinked and looked up at Grandpa Owl, confused. Milo sat quietly for a moment, thinking. He looked at the scattered planks around him and felt a tiny spark of hope. Page 5: Milo looked up at Grandpa Owl as his feathers ruffled in the breeze and gave Milo an encouraging nod. Page 6: With Grandpa Owl’s wise words echoing in his mind, Milo picked up his hammer again. He carefully started putting the pieces back together, adjusting each plank, making sure every nail was in place. Page 7: Milo worked and worked. His paws grew tired, and sometimes he needed to stop and think. Days passed, and the treehouse slowly started to take shape. Page 8: Finally, after many tries and many adjustments, the treehouse stood tall and sturdy, just as Milo had imagined. The wooden planks gleamed in the sunlight, and the windows looked out over the whole backyard. It was everything Milo had dreamed of—and more. Page 9: Grandpa Owl, perched on a nearby branch, looked down at Milo with pride. Page 10: Milo climbed up the ladder and into his treehouse, his whiskers twitching with joy. From the little window, he could see the whole backyard, the sun shining through the trees, and Grandpa Owl watching from below. Page 3 As they walked into the village, they saw villagers preparing for the Spring and Autumn Festival. Wah excitedly said, “I want to see these traditional rituals!” Page 4 Ming took Wah to the Tin Hau Temple, where a statue of Tin Hau was enshrined. They saw villagers ringing bells to pray for safety, feeling the power of faith. Page 5 Next, they arrived at the ancient well. Wah curiously asked, “How old is this well?” Ming replied, “It’s an important water source for villagers, over a hundred years old!” Page 6 They visited the Song Ling Tang Temple and admired the beautiful wood carvings and statues. Ming told Wah it was built to honor their ancestors. Page 7 The brothers ran through the fields of the village, enjoying the beauty of nature. Wah said, “The air here is so fresh; I love it!” Page 8 Finally, they sat on a hillside, watching the sunset. Ming and Wah promised to return to Lung Yeuk Tau in the future to explore more secrets!
