One morning Juliet woke up earlier than usual. She was very excited because today she and her parents, Sergei and Tilly, were going to visit her Uncle Peter's farm. It was her favourite place! Juliet enjoyed watching them and felt like a real farmer. Page 4: Riding a horse After lunch, Uncle Peter invited Juliet to ride his horse, Windy. ‘I've always wanted to do that!’ - Juliet said. She climbed on Windy's back and the horse began to trot gently across the green field. Juliet held on to his mane and laughed with delight as the wind blew her hair. Page 5: Returning home After a fun day at the farm, Juliet, Sergei and Tilly said goodbye to Uncle Peter and his animals. ‘This was the best day!’ - Juliet said. ‘Come back again, there are always new adventures waiting for you!’ - said Uncle Peter. A Berry Picnic To celebrate, Benny and Bella had a berry picnic. They sat under a big tree and shared the bananas, blueberries, and berry juice. While they ate, they talked and laughed, happy to be friends. Benny's Brave Return As the sun set, Benny knew it was time to go home. "Goodbye, Bella! See you soon!" Benny waved as he walked back through the forest. He felt proud of his adventure and looked forward to the next fun day. And so, Benny the Brave Bear went to bed with a tummy full of berries and a heart full of joy. The end.

Emma looks closely and says, "The well has a metal cover. That’s special!" Page 5 Next, they visit the Tin Hau Temple. Emma is surprised and says, "There are so many statues in the temple!" The teacher explains, "These are the gods that protect the village. We can pray here for blessings." Page 6 In the temple, the kids see two old bronze bells. Emma asks, "What are these bells for?" The teacher says, "People ring the bells to tell the gods and pray for safety." Page 7 Before the trip ends, the kids take pictures on the village path. They agree to come back next time to join the village’s traditional activities and learn more about the culture. Page 8 Back at school, Alex and Emma excitedly share their trip stories. She tried to cook the elf shoes in the oven but they just melted. She’d ran over the elf shoes with the car but they were flattened. She sent the elf shoes to Mars in a rocket ship but they didn’t come back. She left the elf shoes in the alley hoping a shoeless person would take the elf shoes but nobody took the elf shoes. After a few days she tried the elf shoes on again and this time, to Cheryl's surprise, they were perfect. She couldn't understand why the elf shoes started to feel better after a few days had passed but from that day forward she wore her elf shoes everywhere.
