He approached the turtle carefully. 6. Max gently untangled the net, calming the turtle. 7. After some time, he freed the turtle, which returned to the sea. 8. Well, it was because today Addie Mae turned three, and only special little girls can talk to animals as soon as they turn three. C is for cottage. So Adeline Mae jumps on his back and they fly down the hill and into the woods, and he took her to where a little secret cottage stood. D is for dog. The cottage was covered with thousands of beautiful flowers. Hidden behind the flowers was a small gold door. They open the door and are greeted with a loud bark. Inside the secret cottage is a white fluffy poodle. “Did you bring me my strudel?” The poodle is Sir Henry, the famous one eyed dog. E is for Eagle. “I’m so sorry.” Buzzes the bee, but the Eagle took your Strudel.” He says to the poodle. “The Eagle took my strudel!” The poodle barks wildly. The bee waves his wings in the air to silence the poodle. “But don’t stress your noodle. You grouchy one eyed poodle. Because I have a plan. I brought you this girl.” “Step forward girl. What makes her so special?”

After 8 days, invite him in for tea… then trap him in your home and begin to domesticate him. Teach him how to use a litter box, make him a small tent to sleep in, but continue to give him coffee beans and tea to show you’re no threat. After a year or so, he can meet your friends and family, but only at 2pm on Tuesdays, as he’ll be busy the rest of the week. Slowly he’ll be a part of the family until a small raccoon knocks on the back door saying his father was last seen here. You reconnect the family and learn that the raccoon has a wife and 3 raccoon kids. Years from now, the family comes over every 3rd tuesday of the month at 2pm for tea.

She chased them down the sidewalk and around the corner until she was out of breath. "Come back!" she yelled, her voice echoing through the neighborhood. The sneakers, however, were having the time of their lives. They bounced past beautiful flower gardens, dodged around playful puppies, and they even slid down a hill. Lily, huffing and puffing, finally caught up to her runaway shoes. She scooped them up, feeling a strange tingling sensation in her legs. "You silly shoes! You can’t just run away! I don’t like to run and you made me chase you. You made me feel SO tired!" she said. Her mom, who had been watching from the window, chuckled. "Looks like you're having fun. Can I join you?” she asked. Lily, surprised by how much fun she was having running, decided to keep going and said “yes, let’s go”.
