She thought for a second and said, “Hmm, I wonder if June took some of my sweets.” Ella followed June to the living room, where she saw her holding 4 of her chocolates. “Aha! That’s where some of my sweets went,” she said. “But I’m still missing more.” Ella went back to her room and looked under her bed. There she found her dog,Mocha, chewing on 2 of her reeses cups. “Mocha! You took 2 of my favorite candies!” Ella counted again. “Let’s see… I had 12 sweets. June took 4, Mocha took 2, and now I have 6 left. That makes 12!” Ella smiled and hugged June. “Next time, just ask before you take my sweets, Junie Poh!” she laughed.
