Our memory and our brain are amazing! However, it does not record our lives like a book! You cannot go back to a previous chapter to retrieve memories accurately. Attention issues, prior knowledge, and memory decay all interfere with the actual memories that are stored. There are so many different parts to our memory that all work separately and together to help us experience and remember life. Your task is to create a children's book about manny the monkey that creates a story highlighting KEY concepts for each aspect of memory: Encoding, Storage, & Retrieval. Your book should be like a “cliff notes” of memory and should walk me through these processes in an easy to understand manner. 1.A young girl, EMMA (7), stands at the edge of a rocky overlook, her eyes wide with wonder as she gazes at the majestic mountains stretching before her. The sun bathes her face in a warm glow. 2.Emma, now a little older (10), is seen scaling a rocky outcrop with youthful determination. Her small hands find purchase on the craggy surface, and she pulls herself up. 3.Emma, now a teenager (16), climbs a steep rock face with practiced skill and agility. 4.Emma, now a young adult (early 20s), stands on the edge of a towering cliff, the wind whipping through her hair. With a deep breath, she leaps into the open air, spreading her arms wide as she soars through the sky. 6.The same matured woman, Emma, now sits on the edge of a cliff, her eyes sparkling with the same joy and hope as when she was a young girl.

Catherine starts her first day of school in kindergarten. She is scared and overwhelmed at first. Then she meets her teacher and her classmates and starts to make friends. They learn more about each other and their favorite hobbies and colors. At the end of the day Catherine‘s mom picks her up from school and she tells her mom about her fun first day at school.

Toby is a tiger who attends a school full of bunnies, none of the bunnies want to play with him because he looks different. but by the end they realize that although he looks different he can still jump skip and draw etc. just like them.

Joy was a young girl with a bright and shining spirit. She lived in a small village nestled in the heart of a beautiful forest. Despite the many challenges she faced, Joy always had hope. One day, a great storm swept through the village, destroying many of the homes and leaving many families without a place to live. Joy's family was among those who lost their home, and they were forced to take shelter in a small, cramped cabin on the outskirts of the village. At first, Joy was devastated. She missed her cozy bed and the warm fireplace in her old home. But as the days went by, she began to see the good in her new situation. The cabin was small, but it was dry and safe, and Joy's family was all together. And most importantly, Joy had hope. She knew that the storm would pass and that better days were ahead. She spent her days helping her family and her community, offering words of encouragement and a helping hand to those who needed it. As the weeks went by, Joy's hope began to spread to those around her. People began to see that even in the darkest of times, there was always a glimmer of light. And with Joy's help, they began to rebuild their village, stronger and more beautiful than ever before. Through it all, Joy remained positive and full of hope. She knew that no matter what challenges came her way, she could face them with courage and determination. And she lived happily ever after, surrounded by the love and support of her family and community.

Granny also gave John Jr and Hopsi a better Understanding what unfairness, prejudice, and oppression look like 4. John Jr and Hopsi went home and started practicing Justice. They treated all their friends the same. 5. John Jr and Hopsi practiced Showing respect even when they disagree with someone else’s words or behavior

Once upon a time, in a dense green forest, there lived a clever fox named Felix. Felix was known for his quick thinking and sharp wit. One sunny afternoon, while Felix was relaxing under a tree, he heard the rustle of leaves. It was a hungry wolf named Bruno, prowling for food. Bruno spotted Felix and growled, “Ah, Felix! You’ll make a fine meal for me today!” Felix, though startled, didn’t show fear. Instead, he smiled and said, “Oh, mighty Bruno! Eating me would be such a waste. I’m too small to fill your big tummy. But I know where you can find a huge feast!” Bruno paused and asked suspiciously, “Where is this feast?” Felix pointed toward the nearby well and said, “Look inside. There’s a fat, juicy lamb waiting at the bottom. You’ll love it!” Bruno rushed to the well. He peered inside and saw his own reflection in the water. Thinking it was the lamb, he leapt in, only to splash into the cold water! Felix laughed from the edge of the well, saying, “Dear Bruno, always look before you leap!” Felix trotted off happily, leaving Bruno drenched and grumpy.
