Later, the Second Laborer arrived and, seeing the dug holes, decided to fill them back in to complete his job. When the Gardener arrived, he was shocked to find no trees planted. The laborers explained that they didn't know how to plant trees, as only the Gardener knew which trees to plant, where to plant them, and how to care for them.
