Page 1-2 Dad isn’t here anymore. I think about him a lot. Page 3-4 I look around and see Dad’s things. “I miss Dad.” Page 5-6 Mom rests a hand on my shoulder. “Let’s make a memory box. We can keep Dad’s love inside.” Page 7-8 I look up at her. “What’s a memory box?” Mom sits beside me. “It’s a special place where we can keep things that remind us of Dad.” Page 9-10 I think about it and nod. “I like that idea.” Page 11-12 We look in the basement and find a box. I run my hand over the lid. “Let’s decorate it. I want it to look just right.” Page 13-14 I draw a heart, and Mom helps me write “I love Dad.” Now our box is ready. Page 15-16 We look for Dad’s things. I find his football jersey and hold it close. “It smells like him.” Page 17-18 We find football tickets. Me and Dad found this on the beach. “It’s lucky.” Page 21-22 I put everything inside the box and close the lid. “Now I have a box of love.” Page 23-24 The next morning, I open the box. On their first day of kindergarten, kids named after spices—Cinnamon, Ginger, Saffron, and Nutmeg—brought special lunches from their homes. When Salt said Saffron's curry looked and smelled funny, Saffron got upset. But second-grade helpers Basil and Rosemary reminded everyone, “Don’t yuck someone’s yum.” Salt said sorry, and Saffron was happy. The kids then shared stories about their favorite foods, learning to appreciate each other's lunches. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class. Page 7: Lizzy also struggled in class, she couldn’t focus on her sun safety class (she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework ) because of how fast her thoughts were moving. Page 8: (Miko and Lizzy struggled in class but their ADHD was an advantage!) After visiting Dr Wild, the Wildebeest, Miko and Lizzy learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Page 9: Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tells you what type of insect you are looking at! Page 10: Lizzy enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation. Page 11: Even though Miko and Lizzy had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best.

In a beautiful garden filled with flowers and fruits, a Gardener found himself overwhelmed with work. To get some help, he hired two laborers from the market. The next morning, the First Laborer arrived early and began digging holes for planting, aiming to finish his task quickly. Later, the Second Laborer arrived and, seeing the dug holes, decided to fill them back in to complete his job. When the Gardener arrived, he was shocked to find no trees planted. The laborers explained that they didn't know how to plant trees, as only the Gardener knew which trees to plant, where to plant them, and how to care for them. The Gardener realized that without his guidance, all their hard work was wasted. The story teaches that proper guidance is essential for success.
