Aubree is a 4 year old girl from Oceanside, California. She lives with her mommy, daddy, and maltipoo dog named Paddington. Christmas is Aubree’s favorite time of year and she always eagerly awaits the return of her elves on “Sleigh Day,” her family’s special holiday each year on the day after Thanksgiving. Aubree’s elves are named Chippy, Snowflake, Kitty Minnie Sparkle Heart Minnie, and Stripey Blue Eyes. They return to Aubree’s house from the North Pole on the morning of Sleigh Day, arriving in a giant red and gold sleigh, pulled by a giant toy reindeer Sven (the reindeer from Frozen). Aubree’s elves always bring her some gifts on Sleigh Day, usually some Christmas books, cozy pajamas, and a few Christmas themed toys to play with throughout the season. Each night throughout the Christmas season, Aubree’s elves fly back to the North Pole, then return to her home by the morning, always hiding in a different spot. Aubree’s elves are very mischievous and she loves searching for them every morning. Each Sunday throughout the season, her elves leave her a special card or letter along with a fun gift or activity to do with her family, like tickets to see The Nutcracker or to go to Legoland. Aubree’s family loves these special days and calls them “Elf Sundays.” Aubree’s elves stay at her home longer than other children’s elves because they know she loves Christmas so much! They stay until she goes back to school, and then they fly back to the North Pole until they return on Sleigh Day the following year. When they leave, the elves always give her a special parting gift with a card, to make sure she always has special memories of that Christmas season.

Ms. Dennis tells the children find something they have in common, and asks them to bring an item that symbolizes the holidays they celebrate. When the children return, Avery brought a red, a blue, and a gold candle Avery's family celebrates Human Light, the candles represent, reason, compassion & hope. Jordan brings a Kinara his family celebrates Kwanzaa they light the candles to symbolize their community. Taylor brings a star from his Christmas tree. He explains that he celebrates Christmas and that the star is a reminder of the North Star the wise men followed to find Jesus. Mako brings a Bodi tree with lights. River brings in a crown made of holly candles sticking out of it. her family celebrates Winter Solstice & the return of the sun. Ms. Dennis says all their celebrations revolve around light and the symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Church is a flaming chalice, each of the children have a light inside of them. River suggests they sing "This little light of mine" for the winter concert. Everyone agrees.

Lucy is worry makes it hard to sleep, and they imagine everything going wrong at school. Lucy is talks to their parent about the worry monster, and the parent explains that worries are normal. The parent teaches the child a trick: thinking of happy thoughts to make the worry monster shrink. Lucy is practicing the trick and starts to feel a little less scared. The next day at school, Lucy remembers the trick and has a good day, shrinking the worry monster even more.

Confident in her abilities, Lila dismissed his advice, boasting that she could outsmart any predator. 4. One evening, while chasing a butterfly, Lila wandered too far from her flock. As she admired her reflection in a stream, Jabari, lurking nearby, pounced and taunted her for being alone. 5. Instead of fleeing, Lila defiantly challenged him. Amused, Jabari chased her, but Lila quickly spotted some bushes and zigzagged to evade him. 6. Jabari miscalculated his jump and got caught in the bushes, allowing Lila to escape. 6. With fear and determination, Lila raced back to her flock, narrowly avoiding Jabari's grasp. 7. Upon reuniting, her friends scolded her for straying, and Lila felt the weight of her recklessness. 8. That night, as they listened to Mosi's stories under the stars, she learned the importance of combining bravery with wisdom. 9. From then on, Lila shared her cautionary tales, understanding that true safety lies in staying close to her flock. 10. Meanwhile, Jabari realized that persistence can be as elusive as a small lamb in tall grass. 11. Together, Lila and her friends continued their adventures, embodying the lesson that strength must be paired with wisdom. The End.
