One sunny afternoon, in a small neighborhood, there lived a boy named Noah. Noah was kind, always smiling, and loved spending time outdoors with his friends. His favorite place to hang out was under a big oak tree near the park, where all the neighborhood kids gathered to play. One day, while they were playing, his friend Lily asked, "Noah, I’ve noticed that you always talk about being kind and loving everyone. Why is that?" Noah paused for a moment, smiling softly. "It’s because of someone really special to me. His name is Jesus." Lily tilted her head, curious. "Who’s Jesus?" "Jesus is God’s son," Noah explained. "He came to show us how much God loves us. He taught people how to be kind, to help others, and to love even when it’s hard. And He loves us so much that He even gave His life for us, so we can always be close to God." Lily’s eyes widened. "He sounds amazing! But… how do you know He loves us?" Noah pointed at his heart. "I feel it here, every day. Whenever I’m sad, I remember that Jesus is always with me, helping me be brave. And when I make mistakes, I know He forgives me because He cares." Lily thought about it and asked, "Can I know Jesus too?" "Of course!" Noah said, excited. "You can talk to Him whenever you want, just by praying. You can read stories about Him in the Bible. He’s like a best friend who’s always there." Slowly, more of their friends joined, eager to learn about this incredible friend Noah had introduced them to. They learned to be kind, to forgive, and to love each other, just as Jesus had shown.

One day there was this kid named Xayden. Xayden went to the park one day and wanted to shoot some basketball. There was one issue though, he wasn’t very good at basketball. In fact Xayden wasn’t good at all. Some other guys saw him missing and started laughing at him. They made fun of him and started calling him names. When they left, a kid named Blaise went over to Xayden and asked him if he wanted help to get better at basketball. Xayden was lit up with joy and immediately said yes! Xayden did some drills with Blaise and started making his shots. After working with Blaise almost every shot seemed to go Xaydens way. The next day, the same guys that were making fun of Xayden came back to the park. Xayden wanted to show them how good he was, so he asked them if they wanted to play a game. Xayden was obliterating them , doing behind the back, in between the legs, shooting threes, layups, and making all of them! Xayden and Blaise ended up winning and one of the guys even ran away. The other guy couldn’t except defeat and said “ Well…well… I’m still better than you!”. Xayden became a great basketball player.

Page 1: Miko the Meerkat and Lizzy the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert. Page 2: Miko and Lizzy are best friends and do everything together! Page 3: Miko is a bright (lively) and friendly meerkat. ( he loves popping and looking out of burrows to explore the Kalahari ) (Miko likes moving from place to place and can’t stay still!) Page 4: Lizzy is a clever lizard ( she loves to imagine about the stars in the sky so much that she sometimes forgets to listen in class ) whose mind never stopped racing. Page 5: Miko and Lizzy are different from their friends because they both have ADHD! Page 6: Miko struggled to stay still in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class. Page 7: Lizzy also struggled in class, she couldn’t focus on her sun safety class (she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework ) because of how fast her thoughts were moving. Page 8: (Miko and Lizzy struggled in class but their ADHD was an advantage!) After visiting Dr Wild, the Wildebeest, Miko and Lizzy learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Page 9: Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tells you what type of insect you are looking at! Page 10: Lizzy enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation. Page 11: Even though Miko and Lizzy had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best.
