My name is Chan Zai. I was born in a walled village of the Tang clan in Lung Yeuk Tau, New Territories, which has a history of over 500 years. I have been filled with curiosity and pride for this familiar land since I was young. I was born in the auspicious old walled village, gazing at the lush green mountains in the distance and the meandering Wutong River, which made me feel the unique charm of this land from an early age. Our ancestors carefully chose this site and built sturdy high walls of blue bricks, which not only defended against pirate attacks but also provided a cool and pleasant shelter from the heat. Although the village gate is narrow, it serves its defensive purpose well, making it difficult for outsiders to invade easily. The ancient well beside the gate is a vital water source for the villagers, ensuring water security when enemies approach. As I walk into the village, the neatly arranged houses are hidden beneath the greenery, exuding an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The ancestral hall towers into the clouds, with dragon-head wood carvings and crane reliefs inside, showcasing the profound historical and cultural heritage of the Tang clan. During major festivals, the villagers actively participate, ringing the ancient bronze bell in unison, praying for the blessings of our ancestors. I especially love to visit the Tin Hau Temple, where after lighting an incense stick, I listen to the miraculous stories of the Goddess of Heaven and the Earth God, hoping they will bless me with safety and health. The nearby Chong Him Hall is also a favorite of mine, filled with countless memories from my childhood. Every time I step into this familiar historic site, I can't help but feel: I am so fortunate to be born in such a place rich in history and culture. I will study hard to inherit the wisdom of my ancestors, ensuring that this treasured land is passed down through generations and thrives.

The story teaches the balance between the wisdom of generations and personal independence.

In a faraway forest, a monkey and a donkey lived together in harmony. The monkey was clever and mischievous, while the donkey was patient and strong. Despite their differences, they were the best of friends, spending their days playing and searching for food together. One day, the monkey came up with an idea and said excitedly: "My dear donkey, let's go to the farm at the edge of the forest! It’s full of delicious fruits. This is our chance!" The donkey hesitated and replied: "But that farm belongs to humans. It might be dangerous." The monkey laughed and jumped around. "Don’t worry, my friend! I’m fast, and you’re strong. They won’t catch us!" The donkey, trusting his friend, agreed. They sneaked into the farm, and the monkey quickly climbed the trees, picking bananas and apples, tossing them down to the donkey, who happily ate. Suddenly, they heard the farmer shouting: "Who’s stealing my fruits?!" The monkey instantly jumped up and disappeared into the trees. But the donkey, unable to move quickly, froze in place. The farmer rushed over, caught him, and tied him in the barn as punishment. Meanwhile, the monkey escaped back to the forest alone. Hours passed, and guilt filled the monkey’s heart. He couldn't leave his friend behind. That night, he sneaked back into the farm, carefully opened the barn door, and whispered: "Donkey, let’s get out of here!" The donkey hurried outside, but before leaving, he stopped and said: "You knew this was dangerous, yet you convinced me to do it. A true friend doesn’t leave his friend behind in trouble." The monkey felt ashamed and apologized sincerely. He had learned a valuable lesson about friendship and loyalty. From that day on, he became wiser and never put his friend in danger again. And so, their friendship continued, but this time, with more care and understanding. The End. 😊🐵🐴

A chubby, sunshine-yellow kitty pranced around the playground, blowing bubbles of all sizes. Soon enough, the school's furry friends joined in on the bubbly action. I was ecstatic, blowing bubbles left and right, spreading joy all day long. The kids couldn't get enough of those magical orbs, chasing them around and giggling like there was no tomorrow. Even the grown-ups paused to admire the beauty of the floating spheres. As the day went on, more and more kids joined in on the fun, trying to catch and pop the bubbles with their noses or by hand. It was a sight to behold, the playground brimming with pure joy and wonder. Finally, the yellow cat and other yello cat sat under a tree, basking in the warm sun, watching the bubbles fade away with the setting sun. It was a moment of pure joy and contentment, one that I will always treasure.

One bright morning, Donkey, Fredrick the Frog, Marble the white bear, and Big Bear Brown packed their bags. They were moving to a new home in a forest far, far away. Though they were excited, they also felt a little nervous. As they walked along the winding path, Donkey kicked a small stone and sighed. "What if we don't like our new home?" he asked. Fredrick the Frog hopped onto Donkey's back. "Don't worry, Donkey! We’ll make it fun, together!" His cheerful croak made Donkey smile. Marble the white bear, soft and fluffy as snow, was thinking too. "Will we make new friends there?" she asked quietly. Big Bear Brown, towering over everyone with his big, warm smile, gave Marble a gentle pat. "Of course we will," he said. "As long as we're together, anywhere can feel like home." When they arrived at the forest, everything seemed new and strange. The trees were taller, the grass was softer, and the birds sang songs they'd never heard before. "Let's explore!" Fredrick called, hopping ahead. He found a small pond with sparkling water. Marble splashed her paws in it, giggling. Donkey and Big Bear Brown joined in, and soon they were all laughing together. As the sun began to set, they found a cozy clearing with tall trees and soft moss—just the perfect spot for their new home. Donkey set up a comfy tent, Marble gathered some flowers, Fredrick built a small fire, and Big Bear Brown unpacked their snacks. “This place isn’t so bad after all,” Donkey said, feeling happier. "It’s better than good," Fredrick croaked. "It’s home." And as they huddled together under the twinkling stars, Donkey, Fredrick, Marble, and Big Bear Brown knew that no matter where they went, as long as they had each other, they would always be home. Pippa, the little bee, woke up at dawn, She stretched her wings and gave a yawn. The hive was buzzing, busy with bees, Flying and working in the morning breeze. Today was Pippa’s first pollen hunt, She flew from the hive eager and pumped. She landed first on a daisy, so white It was Fluffy and soft, a lovely sight. She wiggled and wobbled, buzzed up and down, But her legs stayed bare—no pollen was found! She flew to a sunflower, yellow and tall, With petals the brightest and biggest of all. She wiggled and wobbled, buzzed up and down, And soon her legs turned golden brown! Time to go home—her legs felt so heavy, She flapped her wings fast and lifted off steady. “One, two, three!” Up she rose, Heading back home as the evening glowed. She searched and searched for an empty honeycomb cell, She wiggled and wobbled and scraped so well. Her job was done, the bee bread made, To feed the colony and baby larvae. Now sleep, little Pippa, in the soft moonlight, No more wiggling and wobbling until the sun shines bright!
