One day Layla wore her superpower costume and was mischievous in so many different ways. Her father told her she wasn’t super at all and sent her to her room without her lunch. Layla felt cross and angry. Just then, her room changed and it became the clouds in the sky. That night, Layla climbed into her private hot air balloon and soared high above the houses. She flew in and out of clouds and almost over a rainbow to the land where the giants live. Layla gazed at this place as her balloon approached. She could see tall trees that towered and stretched as high as the sky. She could see huge houses that lurked in the darkness beyond. She could even see fantastic flowers whose beautiful fragrance danced on the breeze. When she arrived at the place where the giants live, the giants stomped their enormous feet and boomed with their enormous voices and crunched their enormous teeth. Layla didn’t care. She waved at them cheerily and then they made her Queen of the Giants. Soon though, Layla grew weary of the Giants and dreamed of her home. So she climbed back into her hot air balloon, drifted through clouds and almost over a rainbow until she landed back in the warmth of her very own room.

Mimi and PopPop ale ready promised to take her to see the unicorn races and maybe if she’s extra good she might even meet a unicorn that would let them ride them! The adult unicorns are beautiful but haughty. They won’t let Emma touch them even if she’s says pretty please with a Cherry on top. Emma eventually meets a little unicorn with a small horn that is often bullied by the much bigger equines and hides in the shadows. With a pep talk the two decide to become racing partners! They do pretty well in the junior leagues but when a bigger unicorn brother wants to make Emma drop out of the race to let their siblings win, the smallest unicorn “Uno” steps into show what really matters isn’t the size of a unicorns’ horn but their heart. Uno’s small horn glows golden and smacks the bigger unicorn away. The magical flow attracts the adults and soon the big brother unicorn has to bow and apologize. Emma and Uno run in the junior finals but they don’t win. However Uno promises they can always try again next year. Uno and Emma hug on the last page of the story.

Shopkeepers Bell rings, Manny dressed in a suit enters the store. The BOT sits up in anticipation. Manny walks past the BOT, stops, takes a step back, looks at the BOT and says, “You’re coming with me” and grabs the BOT and puts him under his arm. Back at the NYC School Construction Authority, the BOT is sitting on a desk. Kol, the developer talks to the BOT and says, “You are going to have a special job”. BOT jumps up and down with excitement. Developer continues to type away code on the computer keyboard. Next day, when XMS gets to his desk, he is ready to perform his function. XMS leaps onto the computer screen and something magical happens. All the computer screens transform into a cozy Christmas Yule Log Fireplaces. Co-workers gathered around sharing stories. XMS can now rest and watch Christmas movies.
