1. THE SNAKE’S FALL Once upon a time, there was a snake who thought he was the strongest and smartest animal in the forest. 2. THE HUNGRY SNAKE MEETS THE FISH Fish: “Please, don't eat us, Mr. Snake! We are small and have families too.” Snake: “I Don't care about your families. I am hungry, and you are food!” The snake ate as many fish as he could and slithered out of the river, his belly full. 3. 3 MEETING THE RABBIT At the river's edge, he saw a mother rabbit feeding her baby. Rabbit: “Please don't eat me, Mr. Snake. My baby needs me. She is too small to take care of herself alone.” Snake: “I only care about my hunger!” 4. THE CLEVER SQUIRREL AND BIRD High in a tree, a squirrel saw what was happening and called his friend, a bird. “We need to stop the snake Squirrel: “We need to stop the snake.” Bird: “Oh, mighty snake! did you know there’s a treasure hidden under the big oak tree? Only the strongest can find it!” 5. 5 FINDING THE TREASURE Curious and proud, the snake slithered to the oak tree, leaving the rabbit behind. He dug and dug but found nothing. Snake: “Where is the treasure?” Bird: “The treasure isn’t gold. It’s kindness.” Squirrel: “That's true. True strength comes from helping others, not hurting them.” 6. A NEW BEGINNING The snake thought about the fish and the rabbit and felt ashamed. “I want to be better,” he said. He apologized to the rabbit and promised to change. From that day on, the snake became friends with the squirrel, bird, rabbit, and even the fish. Together, they showed the forest that kindness is the greatest treasure.

One day, Arzhel and his friends were playing in the park. They saw a big building with a beautiful garden and many people. Arzhel asked his father, "Dad, what is that place?" Arzhel's dad said, "That is our house of worship. People go there to pray and worship." Arzhel was excited because he wanted to know what people do inside. The next day, Arzhel's dad took him inside the house of worship. Inside, they saw a leader called a “Pastor” (or priest) teaching people about good things. Arzhel's dad said, “He is the leader who helps us understand God’s words.” As they walked around, Arzhel saw workers cleaning, arranging chairs, and taking care of the plants in the garden. “They are the workers who help our leader keep the house of worship clean and beautiful,” Arzhel's dad said.

Asher was a 6-year-old girl who loved God. She loved going to church. Her mom cleaned the church, and her father played the drums. One day Asher's best friend Sarah at school got sick. She begin questioning God. She felt distant from God. She continued to go to church but didn't feel like singing anymore, and didn't enjoy hearing God's word anymorOne day, Asher was in Sunday School and her teacher was teaching about the story in the bible where a woman with a blood condition touched Jesus’s garment and she was healed instantly. She loved that story. After the lesson, she went to talk to her Sunday school teacher Sarah. Her teacher encouraged her to continue praying for Sarah, and to have faith that Jesus could heal her too.That night she went home and prayed. She went back to the hospital to visit Sarah. She explained the story of Jesus healing the woman with the blood issue. Sarah is surprised and encouraged. Asher prayed together with Sarah.Asher continued to pray and trust God every day. After a few weeks passed, she visited Sarah again. Her friend was getting ready to leave the hospital. She said Asher I'm all better, I believe that Jesus healed me just like you said! I want to learn more about Jesus Asher is so happy. She went home and thanked God right away. “God” I’m sorry for not believing in you earlier. But I know you will forgive me, because you forgive all our sins always. This story of Asher might relate to you. Sometimes we make mistakes like Asher, but it is never too late for you to start fresh. If you believe in Jesus to save you from your sins, He will. The bible says that if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has passed and behold, a new has come. You might feel hopeless thinking there Is no second or third chance from sin, but we want to encourage you to have faith despite whats happening around you, like Asher did. And believe that this new year, God will give you a new chance to be right with him.

Benny the bunny loved playing in the meadow with his bright red balloon. He would toss it in the air, chase it through the grass, and watch it float above the flowers. But one windy afternoon, a big gust carried Benny’s balloon high into the sky and far, far away. “Oh no! My balloon!” Benny cried, hopping after it. He searched near the big oak tree, around the sparkling pond, and even under the berry bushes, but the balloon was nowhere to be found. Just as he was about to give up, his friend Mia the mouse scurried over. “What’s wrong, Benny?” she asked. “My balloon is gone,” Benny sighed. “I’ll never find it.” Mia thought for a moment and then squeaked, “Let’s look together!” So Benny and Mia searched side by side. Along the way, they met Ollie the owl. “I saw something red floating toward the hill,” Ollie hooted. “Maybe that’s your balloon!” Benny’s ears perked up. “Come on, let’s go!” They ran toward the hill and found Finn the fox watching something bob in the branches of a tall tree. “Is that your balloon?” Finn asked, pointing with his fluffy tail. Benny’s eyes lit up. “It is!” But the tree was too tall for Benny, Mia, or Finn to climb. Just then, Ollie flapped his strong wings and flew up to the highest branch. Carefully, he nudged the balloon free, and it floated gently down into Benny’s paws. “Thank you, everyone!” Benny beamed. “I thought I lost my balloon, but I found something even better—friends who help each other!” Mia, Ollie, and Finn all smiled. They spent the rest of the day playing together, knowing that friendship was even more special than a red balloon.

One morning Juliet woke up earlier than usual. She was very excited because today she and her parents, Sergei and Tilly, were going to visit her Uncle Peter's farm. It was her favourite place! They quickly got ready and set off. ‘I can't wait to see all the animals!’ Juliet said happily. ‘Don't worry, you'll see them soon!’ smiled Sergei.
