Page 2: Thomas didn’t know that his friends liked a little more space when they talked. Sometimes, they would step back, and Thomas didn’t understand why. Page 3: During class, the teacher took a chalk and drew a big circle on the floor Page 4: Mrs. Green took a piece of chalk and drew a big circle on the floor. “This is a special circle,” she said. “Let’s imagine it’s our personal space. Everyone has an invisible circle like this around them.” Page 5: She called one student, Sarah, to stand inside the circle. “Sarah is in her personal space. Now, if someone steps inside her circle without being asked, it feels too close,” Mrs. Green explained. “Let’s try to stay outside each other’s circles unless we are invited in.” Page 6: When it was Thomas’s turn, teacher asked him to stand inside the circle. His friends stayed outside, and they all smiled. Thomas could see that they were happy and comfortable talking from just the right distance. Page 7: “Good job, Thomas!” Mrs. Green said. “Remember, when we talk to our friends, we can give them some space by imagining their personal circle. That way, everyone feels happy.” Page 8: From that day on, Thomas practiced imagining the invisible circle when he talked to his friends. He still loved sharing stories about trains and dinosaurs, and now his friends were more comfortable than ever! Page 9: Thomas learned that personal space is important, and it made him an even better friend. And every time he saw a circle, it reminded him of the special game that helped him and his friends feel happy together. Page 10: And so, Thomas continued to grow, learn, and share, always remembering the magic of personal space!

Mandy Moo wasn't just any ordinary cow. She was super-duper smart, the real brains behind the operation, and the fearless hero of old Farmer Tom's farm! Old farmer Tom, bless his old sleepy heart, mostly took long naps under a big tree every day, leaving the day-to-day running of the farm entirely in Mandy Moo's capable hands. Every morning, Mandy Moo meticulously planned the day's activities. She used a system of colored pebbles to assign tasks to each of the farm animals. A grey pebble meant "drive the little tractor!" (the chickens were surprisingly adept at this, though they weren't allowed near the bigger tractors, those were for Mandy). A spotty pebble signified "fence mending" (the sheep, surprisingly strong and surprisingly good with knots, were responsible for this). A shiny white pebble meant "collect the eggs," a task usually handled by the pigs (who, surprisingly, had a knack for finding even the most hidden eggs). And a brown pebble meant "hay time," a job for the strong horses. But Mandy Moo wasn't just a manager. She was a skilled operator, a master of the farm's machinery, and a whiz with a wrench. The little tractor was easy for her, but she could also handle the truck, driving it with surprising agility to transport supplies around the property. Sometimes, when the harvest was in full swing, she'd even take the combine harvester for a spin, expertly maneuvering it through the fields. And if something broke down on the farm, Mandy could often be found wielding a wrench, fixing whatever needed fixing. She could repair a leaky pipe, tighten a loose bolt on the hay baler, or even patch a hole in the chicken coop, all with a surprising level of skill and precision

Harry the Hog Drives That Big Red Truck Harry was a small hog—smaller than his brothers and sisters. His mother was a pretty hog, and his father was big and strong. They all lived on the same farm for many years, under the care of Farmer Jenkins, who treated Harry and his family with kindness. Every morning at sunrise, Farmer Jenkins would pull up in his big red truck to feed all the hogs. Ever since Harry was a piglet, he dreamed of driving that big red truck one day. He told his parents about his dream, but his mother shook her head. "Harry, we're hogs. We can't drive trucks. We live in the mud on this farm." But Harry didn’t give up. His dream to drive that big red truck kept him going. At bedtime, Harry told his brother about his dream, but his brother just told him to go to sleep. While Harry’s brother dreamed of rolling around in gooey mud, Harry couldn’t stop thinking about driving that big red truck. Harry was always the first hog awake in the mornings, eager to watch Farmer Jenkins pull up in that big red truck. The other hogs were already thinking about breakfast, but Harry was focused on studying every move Farmer Jenkins made as he parked and unloaded their food. One morning, Harry woke up before dawn. The sky was still dark, and the air was thick with clouds. He thought he might’ve woken up too early, but it wasn’t the time—it was just a stormy morning. Heavy rain started to pour down as a loud crash of thunder shook the farm. Despite the storm, Harry was determined to see that big red truck, so he slipped into his bright yellow raincoat and boots—his name written on the sides—and ran to the end of the hog pen to watch.

In Mr. C’s classroom, something incredible is about to happen. Penelope, Chance, and Tamara are about to embark on a journey that will take them beyond the walls of their school—into a world where science meets magic. One day, as Mr. C introduces a lesson on genes, heredity, family traits, and chromosomes, a strange shimmer appears on the classroom floor. At first, it looks like a trick of the light, but when Chance steps closer, he realizes the shimmer is a glowing thread, twisting and weaving through the air like it’s alive. Before they know it, Penelope, Chance, and Tamara are pulled into a breathtaking adventure inside a living tapestry of DNA, where glowing strands reveal the secrets of inheritance, dominant and recessive traits, and the way genes shape who we are. Guided by a mysterious, shape-shifting guardian known as Helix, they explore The Chromosome Caverns, The Inheritance Isles, and The Tower of Traits—each place revealing more about their own unique features, from eye color to talents passed down through generations. As they navigate this magical world, they must solve riddles about genetic traits, match DNA sequences to unlock hidden doors, and work together to untangle a knot in the Great Genetic Web—an ancient, glowing thread that connects all living things. But time is running out! If they don’t complete their quest before the web unravels, the balance of heredity and traits could be lost forever. With science and magic intertwined, Penelope, Chance, and Tamara will discover not only the wonders of genetics but also the special traits that make each of them unique. But the biggest question remains: What happens when they return to Mr. C’s classroom? And was this adventure real… or a glimpse into the hidden magic within us all?

When Salt said Saffron's curry looked and smelled funny, Saffron got upset. But second-grade helpers Basil and Rosemary reminded everyone, “Don’t yuck someone’s yum.” Salt said sorry, and Saffron was happy. The kids then shared stories about their favorite foods, learning to appreciate each other's lunches. Once upon a time, in a dense green forest, there lived a clever fox named Felix. Felix was known for his quick thinking and sharp wit. One sunny afternoon, while Felix was relaxing under a tree, he heard the rustle of leaves. It was a hungry wolf named Bruno, prowling for food. Bruno spotted Felix and growled, “Ah, Felix! You’ll make a fine meal for me today!” Felix, though startled, didn’t show fear. Instead, he smiled and said, “Oh, mighty Bruno! Eating me would be such a waste. I’m too small to fill your big tummy. But I know where you can find a huge feast!” Bruno paused and asked suspiciously, “Where is this feast?” Felix pointed toward the nearby well and said, “Look inside. There’s a fat, juicy lamb waiting at the bottom. You’ll love it!” Bruno rushed to the well. He peered inside and saw his own reflection in the water. Thinking it was the lamb, he leapt in, only to splash into the cold water! Felix laughed from the edge of the well, saying, “Dear Bruno, always look before you leap!” Felix trotted off happily, leaving Bruno drenched and grumpy.
