1. John Jr and Durga learned about the Armor of God at Bible Camp. They wanted to learn more and asked the camp counselor for more information. 2. John Jr and Durga found the verse about the Armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-18. They decided to break the verse down to better understand it. 3.The verse started out "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [wiles of the devil. " John Jr asked Durga if he knew how to be strong in the Lord. Durga said that Your spirit thrives on being connected to the earth, the world around you and to others. 3. Then John Jr explored the meaning of the verse , "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of ]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Durga didn't understand the Flesh and blood part. John Jr explained that the battle is spiritual, not physical. He says that the enemies we face are not people or objects, but rather an unseen spiritual enemy. 4. The last part of the verse is "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." John Jr told Durga that they needed to stand against evil by Being Strong in the Lord., Standing on God's Word, Don't Lose Heart and Standing in Faith. 5. John Jr and Durga decide that they would try putting on the armor of God by reading and praying God's word, and remembering that God's righteousness protects them, and that they can have faith in his promises. John Jr and Durga decided that their daily practices would include prayer, scripture study, journaling, acts of kindness, exercise, and associating with friends of high standards

Once upon a time, in a big green forest, there lived a little turtle named Timmy. Timmy was a small turtle with a shiny, green shell and a big, curious smile. He loved to explore and go on adventures, even though he was a bit slower than his animal friends. One sunny morning, Timmy decided to go on an adventure to find the biggest, juiciest strawberry in the whole forest! "I love strawberries," Timmy said, licking his lips. So, off he went! He walked past tall trees, wiggled under bushes, and splashed through tiny puddles. On the way, Timmy met his friend Bella the Bunny, hopping around. "Where are you going, Timmy?" asked Bella. "I'm looking for the biggest strawberry in the forest!" Timmy said excitedly. "I'll help you!" said Bella, and they both hopped along together. After a while, they came across Sammy the Squirrel, who was gathering nuts. "Hi, Sammy!" said Timmy and Bella. "Do you know where we can find the biggest strawberry?" Sammy scratched his head and said, "I don’t know, but I’ll help you look!" And so, Sammy joined the adventure too. They walked and walked until they saw something red and shiny behind a big bush. “Look!” Timmy said, “It’s the biggest strawberry ever!” They all cheered! Timmy, Bella, and Sammy shared the strawberry and it was the sweetest, juiciest strawberry they had ever tasted. After their delicious snack, they sat under a tree and laughed together. Timmy was so happy that his friends helped him on his adventure. He learned that exploring was fun, but having friends along made it even better! And from that day on, Timmy, Bella, and Sammy went on many more adventures together.

Evie and Ari were so excited—they were going camping with their parents! They set up two tents near a big, beautiful forest. Evie and Ari had butterfly catchers. But as soon as they tried to catch one, the butterfly fluttered away. “Let’s follow her!” Ari laughed. They ran after the butterfly, giggling, as it danced through the air. But suddenly, they found themselves deep inside the forest. “Let’s go back,” Evie said. But when they turned around, all they saw were tall trees. “Oh no! I don’t know the way back! Where’s the path?” They started walking, but suddenly, the sky turned gray, and the wind began to blow. Then, little raindrops started falling. “I want to go back to Mama!” Evie cried. “I’m cold and wet.” They shouted Mom, dad, but the rain got stronger, and the sound of raindrops on the leaves was too loud—no one could hear them. Just then, a small, friendly bear appeared. “Come inside my cave!” he said. “You’ll be safe and dry in there.” Evie and Ari quickly ran into the bear’s cozy cave. They waited inside, drunk hot chocolate until the rain stopped and the sun came out again. “How will we find our way back?” Ari wondered. “I have an idea!” said the bear. “My friend the eagle can help!” The eagle agreed. “Hop onto my back! From the sky, you’ll be able to see your tents, and I’ll fly you home.” Evie and Ari climbed onto the eagle’s strong wings, and up they went! From high above, the trees looked tiny, and a soft breeze blew against their faces. “There! I see our tents!” Evie cheered. “Please take us down!” The eagle gently landed right next to their camping spot. “Thank you, eagle!” the kids said as they ran to their parents. Mama and Dad hugged them tight. “We were so worried!” they said. “We’re sorry,” Ari said. “We won’t go into the forest alone again!” That night, under the twinkling stars, Evie and Ari snuggled up in their tent, feeling safe and happy.
